That’s basically the best car review I have ever seen. I could really feel the car. The material. The sound it makes steering or opening the doors. That’s incredible good. I enjoyed it. Thank you!
the 1.6D works without watter and oil, don't ask how I found out, I just changed the cylinder head gasket and that was it, good to go as nothing happened 😂😂😂 no need to change the distribution belt, mine was not changed for more than 14 years, it was starting the the first rotation of the starter motor, even with low battery, at the first rotation it was up and runing
I'm surprised to see plenty of leg room in the rear... and I always had a huge liking for vehicles with crank windows, manual mirrors, sliding windows and front hinged bonnets. This has all of the above.
When you switched off the hazard light I swear it sounded like a wet fart :D :D Btw thank you for the video :) I love these nowadays forgotten French cars. If I had the chance I would surely buy this one or a Peugeot Expert from the late 90's, early 00's instead of any newer van. My company has a 1.5 ad blue diesel Opel Combo from 2019. (has the same everything as the newest Peugeot or Citroen vans). Such a plastic piece of crap with no quality. Barely has 50k kilometers, but had major problems several times. Let us down many times. I'd 100% choose this Renault Express or a Peugeot Expert as I said. May not have heated seats or AC, but honestly I don't care :P I prefer reliability and simple/repairable machines.
@@testdrivehero Yeah :D at 7:21 30 years old, and still that 1.9 diesel engine beats like a clockwork. ;) No high pressure system, no ad blue, No thin timing belt as a shoelace or timing chain like a bicycle chain that shatters after 50k km. I swear this van has more quality than the whole Renault or PSA-Stellantis group today.
The scary part is that this is the highest powered version of this car they made. There is also one that has a whopping 32kW or about 40 horses, imagine taking that thing up a mountain loaded with tools or multiple people. 0-100 would be measured in minutes, if you made it at all.

this is the best cars era , efficient , real world application less polluting than any garbage turbo diesel or even EV lithium shit , and mainly reparable and durable AF , this what a car needs to be , and yes it's not fast but who cares if it gets the job done by the end of the day ! now cars cost soo much more for soo much less
@@testdrivehero i have a slightly different version of this car it's a peugeot partner van 1.9d (dw8 engine) well i bought new in 2006 and it was abused and used mainly in urban delivery and i had alongside a VW caddy (a piece of shit) and newer partner B9 (another POS) both sold , i still work with 1.9d Van not gonna lie i had two steering racks and maybe 5 steering pump replaced and other few things but it's going strong
Wow, my parents had one! And I hate it hahahaha but is nice to see a review from an old Express! Maybe you are almost the one who do a test drive with it? I like it! Hahahaha
J'en ai eu 2 de suite, pendant plusieurs années. Les 2 ont finis dans les fossés 😂. Sinon c'était assez fiable comme voiture, mais pas de direction assistée

I fully agree. No nonsense review, love it!

Oh God, slower than 1.9d! Haha

@@allan_7752 Sure, but the 1.9d has little more power and torque.

The bad point, slowly as hell, not much comfy and also nowadays deserves AC😜

Could you do a review of a fiat ducato? Maybe of the year 1990 or 2003/2004?😊
Maybe the 2003 gen can be more possible than the 1990!
Or at least with her sisters Jumper/Boxer!

The engine does not seem to be loud in the passenger compartment.

No, the 1.4 is the fastest. Same engine as the Clio mk1. You can swap a 1.8 16v easily or the Clio rs 2.0
