Great review buddy. I just watched your vlog on the tonghua night market in Taipei, that gua bao place is my go to spot there. There's a super fresh Japanese sushi spot there and also a very famous shaved ice spot less then a block from the entrance. Next I'm in Tainan I've got to give that squid noodles a go, looks delicious!

When you return to Tainan, I recommend you research how locals order from 阿娟肉粽魯麵 in order to not miss out on their awesome congee and 魯麵. Their 肉粽 was one of the best I've had too. It's just a couple minutes walk from the squid noodles place. I also tasted several beef soup shops (including Wen Chang) and my favourite one was 鬍鬚忠牛肉湯 (mustache zhong) and they are also right beside a famous Eel noodle shop
I like also the head/tentacles part of the squid.The foods Are look very interesting. Every Time Your in Taiwan i always remember the Taiwanese Tv Series "Meteor Garden" hehehe
