Thats a problem every publisher has to deal with, sooner or later. Lets not pretend Xbox didn't struggle with this same issue too, most of the time... before it acquired ABK or Minecraft. Hell, even now.. most Xbox games aren't mega-millions-sellers. Its mostly just COD & Minecraft that pull in the big numbers. Indiana Jones, Flight Sim, Gears Tactics, Age of Empires, Pentiment, HiFi Rush are all great games.. but i'm not gonna lie & tell people those titles were exceptional sales-behemoths. (Only Forza Horizon seems to be the lone bright star of the last several years)

Same If it's just another more powerful Xbox, that's a closed platform that only allows you to play Xbox certified games even if it has a disk drive, which I think it's gonna basically be needed. NO. The steamdeck rog ally, msi claw, etc, are not consoles. They are handheld PCs. There are things you can do on handhelds that you can't do on consoles. Change the operating system, install system apps, mods, etc. You can also side load 3rd party apps.

Supposedly the majority of the growth of PC gaming comes from China. Chinese is appararently now the most used language on Steam. Also, I am willing to bet that the overwhelming majority of Steamdeck/ROG Ally owners were already PC gamers to begin with
gonna have to agree. I'm sure PC is also growing in different places but not as fast as in China and i'm also one of those who bought a Steam Deck as a PC gamer. Having a portable library like that is incredible and most PC gamers have more incentive to buy one since most already have the games or may just want a different device for some indie games.
Sony is reversing its policy of putting games onto PC. They haven't sold in sufficient numbers and now PS5 Pro outperforms most PCs on the Steam database and _GTA VI_ will release a year early on PS5 Pro and run at 60 FPS they have regained the Fear Of Missing Out and have enough AAA PS5 titles being updated to make use of the Pro that it will draw those looking to migrate from the now officially dead XBOX to PC to the PS5 Pro instead. Obviously, hobbyists who like tinkering will still find justifications for owning an underpowered PC.
Playstation will definitely put all there games day and date on PC there games are selling well there, with Xbox I just see the live service games old titles and actvision bethesta games going to playstation and Nintendo but there new stuff like E-day perfect dark you will have to subscribe to gamepass.
The steam deck is a pc handheld. The switch is a handheld console, so there is no actual console that you can just leave alone and play pc games on your TV xbox. Is going to make that happen that's the different console are not dead, but they are going to get a huge upgrade

To make development worthwhile, Sony and PS must either raise prices or expand their userbase. Expanding the userbase means either selling more consoles...but the market is in decline, more so once subsidies decline...or releasing on rival platforms MS moved to remove exclusivity years ago. Sony almost HAS TO do so as well to survive. I expected Sony to embrace multiplatform releases with the next generation, albeit with timed exclusivity of a year or so. But it may happen sooner
The Switch sold 150 million and still selling. PS5 65 million and Xbox isn't doing much selling. Hard is moving aside from Xbox but it's software that's the problem.
i have it on my whishlist but i won;t rush picking it cause i need to finish the 1st one and now am playing Spiderman 2 then Sniper Elite and then maybe that game so y way to many games but no time and am not sure how Sony can get their gaming budget under controll cause if u decrease the quality of X game PS users will be mad,if u bump the prize of games PS users will be again mad and this won;t make sense to sell it at 80-100$ while on PC be 60/70$ or maybe u can layoff more ppl but then the dev time will get even longer than now and i do think that Xbox 1st Party games will be Timed Exclusives untill they are selling Xbox Consoles

Phil Spencer himself has said.. in response to why they're moving away from exclusives.. is that he "runs a business" within MS and the implication is, he needs to run it successfully. MS, as a parent company, provided the funds for all these expensive acquisitions.. now Xbox has grown to such a large size that they absolutely need to exist on every screen possible, to make all the money that they can.

Ngl I bought a PS5 last year and PlayStation doesn't really have any good exclusives recently either. I've been playing all of the older exclusives that I missed out on before. AAA is suffering from corporate greed.
@UwUOwl Just because 🫵 can't find an exclusive you like doesn't mean exclusives aren't being released on the platform. Last year alone, they released Helldivers 2, Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade, Astro Bot, FF Rebirth, Gran Blue Fantasy, Until Dawn Remastered. This doesn't even include PSVR2.

the fact that you are still trying to call games exclusives that are on other Platforms like PC is actual cope and you should reflect on what the word "exclusive" actually means before you try to claim anything as such.
Right now there isn't that much difference between Playstation and Xbox anymore and as much as you try to deny that the last 4 years clearly show that Playstation is willing to give up on exclusives as the gap between releases on PC closes further and further after every "timed exclusive" they created. Right now the PS5 has barely anything that the PC doesn't have anymore and that's simply a fact.
First people said "Uncharted will never be on PC" then it was Spider Man, then God of War and now.. you get the point so it's very obvious that not just they are coping but you certainly are too.
@Zy.Blurish There is a huge difference between Xbox games going to other platforms and PlayStation games doing the same. For one, those games aren't day 1, which gives the PlayStation platform a sense of value. Two, those games aren't in a subscription service day 1 and going to every 3rd party device, again, instantly removing value away from the platform. So no one is "coping" by pointing out that Xbox has no exclusives because it doesn't. Now its games are on a PlayStation and most of them day 1 *and run better.* This is a far fetch from Sony's games going to a PC years later and some even missing features from the PlayStation version.

Sea of Thieves has sold about the same as Astrobot. COD is like 60% of PS sales. Forza will pass Astrobot, Doom will crush almost everything else. I can't wait for Starfield, MCC and Gears to hit. PS players will have to admit theyove XB games more.
