Good one mate. I think the audio is fine. I wish I had the talent like you to chat for 20 minutes on a topic, I always fluff my lines, repeat myself and/or run out of things to talk about! Keep up the good work 👍🏻
I've only ridden it for about 2000 km, but I can confirm almost everything you say. I'm going to install the 15 tooth pinion and the original KTM center stand. I'm also very happy with it and have no problems.
Similar story my side. Minor issue where the key wasn't entirely engaging the electrics every time without a bit of a wiggle, but also fixed under warranty with no dramas. My crystal ball tells me we'll face some loose wiring issues at 20-30k if we don't keep an eye on general maintenance, but I think the engine will stretch to when it's supposed to without issues, which is really the core of what reliability is when you've put the miles on.
Hi thank you for the review i am thinking about this bike or the Honda transalp it was good to see a great review very helpful i have subscribe God bless
Great review. I have only 1000km on mine and i am going into the first service in a couple of days , very happy with the bike so far. :) About the Rally mode, it also has better throttle response. Easier to rev and lift the wheel over obstacles on trails ;)
@@grumpsrides6074 I bought a 2023 model for a 15% discount, and then i spent the money i saved on rhe tech pack, some panniers and a few other power parts 😅
I've really only seen the paid reviews up until now, so thanks for this. I have a 2024 coming. They had a voucher to get the Tech Pack for free at the motorcycle show here in Toronto, so that saved me a fair bit on stuff I was going to pay for anyway!
buying this 790 or the Transalp (full power) in the next month. I test road a Norman 901 last week (it’s what the dealer had) and my leg and butt got warm, wasn’t over 16°c that day, so thinking of the 40°c summers in Japan, have you noticed any heat on your 790? Do you feel like CFmoto make a better 790 than ktm makes and 890?
I couldn't comment on who makes the better bike tbh. Yes, I've got a warm leg/butt on mine. The catalytic converter, gives off huge amount of heat, hence why I removed mine. Best of luck with the new bike, ride safe and have fun 👍
@@grumpsrides6074 thanks. The heat being my biggest worry. Living in Japan, the Honda is probably the smart choice. Less heat and parts are literally same day around every corner
Hi mate, great review! Generally, I ride my motorcycle on asphalt. Ignoring the price difference, should I choose the KTM 790 Adv 2024 or the Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro 2024? Triumph is really full of features and when I add these features to KTM it will be almost the same price. However, I cannot add some features such as electronic rear suspension and adjustable windshield. Anyway, to make a long story short, if both motorcycles had the same hardware features, if we only consider issues such as engine, brakes, suspension, balance, and fuel consumption, what would your evaluation be?
Personally, I'd still ho KTM I bought mine, specifically to go off road. If you're riding mainly road, I'd suggest Triumph Just my opinion mind. Thanks for the feedback and support 👍
Nice B roll there at the start. Where is that track? Elan Valley? A lot of triumphs have the oil filler seal leaks if the filler cap is over tigtned. You've had less issues in 6000 miles than I has with the Street!
Cheers bud 👍 Yeah, Claerwen Resevoir and Machen trails 🙂 I said from day 1, I'd be honest about the KTM, and I genuinely have only had 1 issue..........so far?! 🤞🤞🤞
@@grumpsrides6074 you said the himalayan was to slow getting off road, it looks like RE listened with the new one and gave it more power, what do you think of that? Could be a future review since you know what the original was like.
@CAMS5642 definitely, and still a good price. I've also looked at the Voge 300 rally, cheaper version of the CRF300 🤔 Tbh, I quite fancy a 650 continental GT, or 350 Classic, in army desert colour, for my next bike
Not exactly, I bought the bike in M&P Cardiff, but, unfortunately, they no longer sell KIM's. I have to go to M&P Swansea for servicing. Same company, different locations Necassary if I want to keep my warranty. You can use any KTM approved dealer, I believe, but check first.

Have you been able to find any accessories for this bike? Like pannier racks or skid plate and crash bars?
