vrushank bhor not really the old 390 has its own charm the new one will be more refined, less aggressive and not to mention 10kgs heavier some people would actually prefer a more aggressive bike to a refined one, that was the whole appeal of the old 390..
I would buy either as an upgrade to my 200. In fact I would prefer the older one for its rawness and simplicity and underbelly exhaust. KTM electronics and electromechanicals are known to fail after some time. Ride by wire just adds unnecessary sophistication. Plus first batch Indian made bikes are risky to buy. I will probably wait for the second batch with impovements and corrections.

Anm Acharya I have paid the price for buying an early batch Duke 200 so yeah, I am sceptical about buying any Indian launch from the first batch. Fortunately, the engine has been trouble free ever since they replaced the whole thing! :-P

Yeah they should release an update as it is not very difficult to integrate a support for G maps. As The most important thing is navigation for a biker when on a tour
Atharva Ojale they missed that out.. They should have provided a headphone jack at the display and GPS unnecessary things they put.. They screwed up with the side exhaust, their trade mark was the underbelly exhaust.. Now if you fall get ready to pay more for the silencer.

No traction control or cruise control on the current version of the bike. The 2 other features Ride by wire was supposed to include. Traction control may come as an option in Q4 2017. But no cruise control.
Damn!...The only thing it lacks is an answering mechanism like Siri & cortana!

What is the SUP MOTO mode of the ABS? How does it work?
it just turns off the rear ABS sensors..lets u hav fun by skidding or burnouts or watever crazy thing to do with the rear end...the front will still work fine..!!

There was an option called Audio. What is that for?
I had checked the Bluetooth calling function on KTM Duke 390 but it only displayed caller number and not the name. I had the caller's name saved in my phone. Plus it was only partial number displayed.

I can live without all the points mentioned, but where are the ride modes? something that i badly wanted to see.
incase you use a bluethooth headset, so tht means u need to connect the phone to the bike aswell as the headset. I wonder if the the phone will be able to connect to 2 bluetooth devices at the same time and work simultaneously. Can you please confirm..

Wow, can i play Clash of Clans on this console while i'm cruising at 100mph?? It's a very attractive peice of gadget, but to be honest, it doesn't give you that feel you get out of analog tachometer when you are accelerating, like on a Ninja.
