To start the season, here a small experiment. I asked myself how long it would take until some ice cubes in a 100 ml glass would take to melt. I was amazed about the result...
Time lapse of ice cubes, melting in a glass. The video shows 1:45 hours.
Technical details:
Made from a total of 630 photographs, with one shot every 10 seconds (= 300x)
Camera settings:
45mm, f/9, 1 s, ISO 100
RAW conversion was done with RawTherapee. Blender 2.71 was used for video editing.
I used a simple setup with a mirror, a black cloth and two LED spots. Two sheets of tracing paper served as diffusers. - Наука та технологія
