LOL, the kids playing in the water was a great touch, added a new dimension to the how fun having a aquaponics system can be. Thank you for sharing.
You made me smile knowing you have your children happy, and showing them a clean way to live. God bless you and your family.
what a great bunch of helpers you have ....awsome pond too ! .....peace and god bless
That is probably one of the most intelligently designed aquaponics systems I have ever seen. Very inspirational. Well done.
Everyone else has said what I think. You have achieved great harmony with your garden. Congratulations.
Whoever is doing this, I wish you good luck in your business and happiness for your family.
I loved this idea. Being a pot and earth gardener myself and seeing a different way of doing things... well its refreshing. I also raise my child to help with gardening and always teaching him what is growing, how to make it grow, and answering any questions he has on the topic of gardening. Well anyways thank you and I hope to see more post. :)
Simple and effective. A genius solution for the small scale farming.
Very nice harvest! I like the idea of using shrimp, but my big fish would eat them. That's neat that your kids are helping out and having fun in the process. Good luck.
wow that is beautiful!! so what do the shrimp eat??? look how healty your crops are! so how many crops have you grown at one time in the hydroponic system?? very nice work! its important for people to build this technology for a better more sustainable earth! thanks for sharing!!!
This is wonderful! I love the music too. Congratulations on your great garden. What medicine plants do you grow?
This is one of the best aquaponics systems I have seen.
What a fascinating science!!! I am tempted to learn your language so I can learn and understand more!!! Thank-you for sharing this beauty with the world!
The first word that comes to mind is INSPIRATIONAL! What magnificent work! I tip my hat to you, Sir.
Also on a more postive note, really cool video and set up. Very nice.
Those shrimp i'd like to buy....well done.
Great video, very very creative with the way you garden, I hope to learn much from your videos. If you have any drawing plans would be great. Thank you again for sharing, look very forward to any future videos!

How nice a pond you have... I like the shrimp, vegetables, playground and your charming workforce...I enjoyed your movie... Regards, Sander.
PS: Which shrimp did you use ? And do you think they could live underneath floating rafts ?
Oh look at the child playing it so lovely, this a combination of a happy family and a happy veges, i will make one of that too someday! i really love this video very much!!!!!!!!!
very beautiful and amazing, i'm sitting watching your video in wonder and think this is just the best way to grow ever :)
I LOVE THIS!!!! You got it! someone asked why are the tanks curved. I have fish at home and I know from experience that the curvature will help the water to circulate better and not leave too many "dead spots" I imagine the flow would also help stimulate the roots. I think for instance that that would be a bigger root ball than you would find on another plant grown with this method but less flow. Thank you for the lovely relaxing music as well!
Soft words of wisdom, kindly spoken,
Master of living life.
Om ni ta va
you guys are doing a good job with your vegetable and prawn business.......
very nice and you have a good looking system there to keep your kids active and in touch with nature
my question is i would like to know what you think about growing shrimp in an aquaponics system made out of 2 55 gallon barrel ?
thanks and all the best
This is humanity at its best
I enjoyed your video very much. I also look to create my own food for my family and for market. I intend to move off the grid soon.
非常漂亮的系统。感谢你的分享
I think the shrimp's waste is what fertilizes the plants. In turn, the plants filter the water so it stays relatively clean.
Beautiful. ...and it looks like you have some great helpers too!
your farm set-up is very impressive...I assume that you live in a warm climate as there are no covers over your ponds...happy children are a blessing to all...thank you for caring about our planets future
Yes, I would be very interested in knowing where you got your floating planters as well. they look like a wonderful product. How much did it cost to get your system up and running? Can you give us a link to find the products to build one? Do you have a blog by chance? Great Great Great Video, thank you so much, very innovative and I love that you have your entire family involved in the care of your garden, wonderful!
amazing !! love, peace, respect a world with abundance for all
Funny how people say that fish/shrimp farming is not practical. Turns out the best solutions often integrate multiple problems with one solution. Amazing what you can do when you use nature as a guide.
Great video! Beautiful setup!!
Your aquaponics is always great!!
I wish you would make this video again so we could see more of your beautiful garden!
thank you for your great video! your "magic cups" are great
I live in an open pen salmon farm area in Canada. Watching this makes what we do here look like the dark ages..Wow what an eye opener. Congrats on the skills and obvious devotion to your work.
A dumb question.. what is the music..?
This is so beautiful and inspiring.
You do wonderful work. Good man.
Excellent work... I enjoyed watching, and am inspired...
To keep birds away use anything that shines...Anything plastic that will reflect sun light..Here in Calif the grape growers use strips
Nice. One happy family. Keep happy.
Very nice video. Thanks for sharing it.
I just have one question, where can i find the blue prints to build this amazing system? Please reply ^^.
@BroncWarrior12 I loled my ass of at that. The set up looks amazing, so much food being produced.
Beautiful garden, thank you for sharing.......:-)
This looks like a wonderful system! I'd love to learn more. These are freshwater shrimp?
This sort of aquafarming could be used even in small deprived areas to provide cheap local organic food.
amazing... i am out of words... thanks for the video.
Great learning video...thank you!! Namaste, my friend.
el mejor diseño en sistema de policultivos que he visto, aquaponic
Asian ever doing good for humanity!
What a great video! One question pls: Can you raise fish in this system as well? And what kind of fish? Thanks a tonn!
fish is avoided because they eat roots. If you pump fine bubbles into the water which attaches to the roots, then your vegetables will be perfectly healthy. Looks like this is purely hydroponic, the spotlight is not on fish and shrimps.
@PsychoticusRex Well said , kids need to learn that food doesn't just come out of packets. Your never too young to learn practical skills.
that is so beautiful. thank,s guy,s for the upload. you guy,s are totally awesome
生菜质量非常好。 我非常惊讶地看到芹菜和甜菜根部生长在水下。 非常好!这个系统关闭了吗?
你说污泥是由池塘自然形成的吗?
WOW, impressed, great build,such amignation
Thank You!
What a beautiful setup.
Wow ... It's like the hobby of the children
@zigzigerblat
The cultivation of small shrimp in the brackish
But this is a freshwater shrimp pond
Being self sustaining is the best thing you can do in life for you, your family, or anyone... in my opinion, the only people who should even go to school for years to learn something besides are doctors....
everyone should be farmers... yay!
Excellent, Thank you for sharing.
Fantastic Work!!! Very Inspiring =)
How and Where do you get the floating planks that the children were playing on and planting?
Very nice, thank you for sharing.
Great work! Great system very impressive!
very nice video... I hope I'll have one of these in the near future. :)
Shrimp and lettuce salad. YUMMO!
It's beautiful! Thank you for the video.
I want to do the same, starting from small. Right now I am learning to grow clarias gariepinas and some vegetables in my home, but want to try other fishes or shrimps later if I succeed with my tiny experiment now.
Where can I get more details about your project?
Good job! Can I invite you to share your experience here in Bulgaria?
@gweedoz84 You just witnessed kids helping their family, something I almost never see in the US any more.
I have watched this video many times already coz it gives hope. I'm hoping to visit your place sir, if you don't mind. I and my family would like to see it and be able to observe you guys doing this business. I have a small aquaponic system inside my apartment but because of the weather condition here in Jilin province, I cannot do more. This system that you have would really work in the Philippines for sure.
Sir, can we visit your place sometime this summer? If it's okay for you.
Hi Mr.Johnson,You had done a great work, please can you tell where i can buy those floating trays to grow plants, they look very usefull on long term. Thank you.
這是我們自己研發的產品This is the products that ourselves research and develop
在製造在台灣 Making it in Taiwan
這產品擁有美國專利 This product has U.S.A.'s patent
可是目前在美國仍然沒有代理人 But still there is no agent in U.S.A. at present
Very beautiful.
well done bro please tell me what the name of the vegetables and which can grew on sea water thank you
I used a bag of shrimp feed
But did not run out
The tiny shrimp eat zooplankton,
Large shrimp eat the snails in the water
Thanks god google translate improved over the years.
Молодцы! Очень здорово!
Wow i love the shrimp idea !!
I like to learn about all the process and like to visit your place...its so so so great, how can I?
From my experience with Static Hydroponics for lettuce and veges, his floating raft mechanism will probably have an AIR GAP , note the thickness of the raft plastic itself. This airgap allows the plant to take in Oxygen directly from the air whilst the roots take in nutrients and is cleaned by the Shrimp. I suspect he may also have a solids filter. He may also be using supplements in the water as fish/shrimp waste is inadequate for proper plant growth.
Nice video,
Thanks for the translation
How do you avoid root rot? In most aquaponic systems you have an ebb and flow to stave off rotting.
Wow! This is wonderful.
good farming system, may i query you about how to give a fertilizer (procedure) ?
have a damage to skin, if we play in the pool like childs in video?
This is really neat. I have a question and I am hoping you can answer it. Where do you grow the shrimp? In baskets where you can be sure the birds don't eat them? Or in the open environment? Don't you worry about the kids and adults stepping on them? I want to learn more about the shrimp, as I love to eat shrimp and want to be more sustainable on our property and I would love to know what we are eating is healthier. But I have never raised shrimp before. I have raised fish, however and found that terribly rewarding.
這是開放的環境 蝦子不容易踩的到因為他是活的 謝謝您喜歡 不過我最近都養魚 因為小孩喜歡吃魚
Yes we all like fish. I might be the only one that likes shrimp though. Haha. So you are saying they move out of the way before you can step on them? Great. I am thinking of building a somewhat smaller system, but trying several kinds of fish and maybe even shrimp.
Isso no meio seria azola ou pistia? Serve de alimento aos camarões?
We always hope that everything can be forecast
Like factories
But nature has been both unpredictable
So life is full of fun
can i do it in arizona,
where do i get to buy those rafts.
thank you ,brilliant way of having fun and making clean foods
Great stuff. Thank you for sharing.
@MRSketch09 Best primer for that is a documentary on the origins of modern schooling featuring John Taylor Gatto's UNDERGROUND HISTORY OF AMERICAN EDUCATION & Ivan Illich's DESCHOOLING SOCIETY done by Unwelcome Guests - Episode 562. The unwelcome guests series is one of the best out there on ANY subject. UA-cam does not like links in comments so google UNWELCOME GUESTS DESCHOOLING 562, it'll be the first link.
amazing video
Beautiful. Well done. :)
Are they edible shrimps, if yes can you tell me the species...I was also planing on some clawfish
Grow your own Shrimp! Cool!
好贊的系統,您真的很厲害 ^^
I knew it Chinese started this before aquaponics
Amazing !!! Great idea !!! I will try it on a pond with fish ...
