okay i have a story about this song. i saw Rent today on the broadway tour & it was AMAZING, but i’d always heard “to snl!” and so when they said “to s&m!” (because no offense to the movie but the diction of the broadway people was way better) and i had to find the lyrics to the song to know if they ever actually said “to snl!” which they did not.
