Great video - loved seeing Mark reflect when Jody mentioning sometimes she needed to just have a down day - love the self reflection. Also really appreciated the focus on having fun and being intentional.

Glad you enjoyed this video and thank you for recognizing our pause to reflect. This video was us really having a conversation live about our planning for 2024. Much of what we say in videos like this is unrehearsed and unplanned. Thanks for being here with us.

Hey Mark and Jody, I really love your honest conversations and the sometimes so funny moments, when you discuss some aspects😃 You always make me smile or laugh😅👍 These we're all great points and I thank you for that. And I also have to say, that you are really blessed, to have the possibility to visit all of your kids in different states. That takes a lot of money I guess and not everybody is able to do that. I' m happy for you, because it is so important😊. Hope you're feeling a bit better with your Infection!! 🍀

Thank you Susan for this thoughtful comment. We are blessed and so enjoy being with our children and grandchildren. And we also like being with each other. We have our moments, but I think everybody does. We just don’t let things between us fester for long. We do a great job communicating with each other.

You bet. I think there was 15 minutes of coughing cut out when it was edited. We are feeling much better now.

Very thoughtful video! One of our big bucket items was to go through file cabinets to make sure everything is up to date and easily retrieved.

Great comments about finding fun with each other. We're not retired and we have the same struggle because we are still around each other a LOT. We found one new hobby to do together this year and we're going to start doing dinner will friends once a week.

Love your videos but i think this is the best so far. I'm inspired by you two. I don't know how you fit in all that you do - just planning time with 6 children /partners/ grandkids is so time consuming! Really enjoy hearing what you have to say and your interaction together.

Thank you for your perspective. We both learned a lot in our first marriages and trying to make sure we learned from our mistakes.
