Last night I listened to Riyoko's performance of 'Ultramarine Blue' by Shinji Tanimura a lot and looked up original song and was surprised what she did to the original - she made it sound like her version is the Romantic era original and later they popularized it with lyrics and orchestral score. It looks like she improvised it on the fly, kind of like what I saw her do with Claude Debussy's 'Girl with the Flaxen Hair'.
