Taurus is only hurting themselves with this error.
@@cz6301 If you give me a couple more days, I will contact their PR Firm, my contact there was out on Vacation last week, Is it an error? ya, it is, but I doubt it's a deal breaker for many.
@@yrsued Actually I was not going to get it (for carry) if it was 35 oz. That's just me, but 35 oz. is more than a lot of people want to carry. Good luck with letting Taurus know, Yamil.
Hard to find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In a store
Do you mean "Hard to FIRE"?? No, not at all, this ammo was hot and Flashy, I will do a Video with different ammo here very soon!!
@@yrsued No hard to find in a store
@@dano1956 Hard to FIND??? I don't know
What will I get in Pakistan to buy this revalver?
I don't know, I don't live in Pakistan, nor do i know the laws there. That is a question only for you to answer.
A life sentence in prison plus 50 lashes
@@azvoltmanphoenix446 Ya, most likely!!
Just go over the boarder.
Tala Bam has all kinds of stuff thanks to Joe.
You did not show double-action shooting. Is their something wrong with the cylinder timing?
No, should there be?? I just made a decision, 2 years ago not to shoot double action on this particular video for the first time at the range.
he hee i call them TURTLES! There good guns! but nothing like S&W and Colt. I love the Hogue rubber grips there perfect > You would have to take it apart to polish all the moving part for a smoother easier trigger pull> That the problem to stuff and new
They are GREAT Guns!! If you're getting Good Steel and good guns, no need to pay more!!
Mine (85) has a perfect trigger. Wear through the surface of the heat treated case (stone, not polish) moving parts and you will be one sorry dude. The current US guns are not the forged hammers of the 60's.
Made in Brazil, but practically impossible for brazilian citizens to get.
I don't know laws in Brazil.... I don't live there...
It would be a good idea to mention the caliber for folks not quite so familiar. I found that irritating to be honest. Otherwise good job
In all honesty, I forgot, in the next Video we will include that
Its a 38 basically. you could also look for the info on Google/
If you want to master shooting site alignment & trigger control keep the trigger centered of your first part of your finger. keep it in the center !! you yourself is pushing the bullets to the left by the way you’re holding your trigger !!
Not if you're shooting Double Action, you press the trigger in a long steady mash with the first joint of your finger!! That is the way the S&W Academy taught it and the way Gunsite teaches it!!
@@yrsued not the way the police department taught me !! I was on the pistol team. You keeping shooting to the left I noticed that on a couple of your videos !! You just need to make the right adjustment over time we all will get it right no one is perfect !!! Practice practice practice but with this ammo shortage which really there’s no ammo shortage there just stock piling it and holding out on the public !!!
@@billybatesjr1837 Well, a normal student at a Gunsite Class, takes more classroom and Range Time than any Police Academy in the US!!! That is the way its taught now!! NO, there is NO ammo shortage, they are making it, I know people!! Stupid morons are stockpiling it at home and then gouging others on it!! I know morons that have over a million rounds of 5.56, they don't have enough money for food or medicine, but they have ammo!! Just like Toilet Paper!! They will never shit enough to use all that TP, but they have it!! Again, MORONS!! When this Ammo Bing is over, and it will be, some people out there will be stuck with tons of ammo they won't use!!
Watch Hichcock45. Sorry if your training did not teach you that the greatest aid to accuracy is the strength of that finger. Hands are all different size, so one does what fits, not ordered to.
For def good Is
ABSOLUTELY!!! This is a GREAT Buy!!
Not 35 ozs , only 24 ozs
I can't fit it now, but when the gun came out, that was the weight on the Taurus Website, I don't weigh guns, I read their websites, I wish they would do some corrections before they release their own guns, but they didn't, it was wrong on their site for over a month!!
You need to stop the single action shooting. It’s s defensive gun, learn to hit well in Double-action. In my mind your channel loses credibility for poor technique. Oh yeah... these are great choice for a defensive revolver.
This is NOT training, I was trying to do the first test, if I was taking a the 250 Class at Gunsite, I would be shooting Double Action, this is NOT that!!
@@yrsued ok fine. My comment stands. I’m sorry if it upset you, I just wanted you to know what I thought watching it.
@@scubaguy007 And when I train, I shoot Double Action, when I compete, I shoot Double action, this is NEITHER!! When I slap a revolver on a Ransom Rest, we don't shoot it double action, we want to remove ALL variables out!! This is not it either, there is a place for everything and you can NOT be so tunnel visioned to do everything the same way all the time, there are times where Single Action is necessary and used, this one one of those times, where I had NEVER fired this particular revolver before and I had NEVER used this ammo before, it would have been counterproductive to shoot it for the first time Double Action, I would have learned NOTHING.. Now, when I take this to training, you bet your life I will be double action ONLY!!
@@yrsued you should calm down. You’re not doing anything but agitating yourself. I made an honest assessment of what I saw. You need to learn to take criticism if you want to be liked. Your channel will be blocked now since you seem to be a hot head zealot. Good day sir.
@@scubaguy007 I'm perfectly calmed down cleaning my office, I'm just unsuccessfully trying to explain to you that your assessments and Opinions DO NOT apply when you're doing a TEST!! Training is NOT a Test and TEst are NOT Training!! Two different animals!! You are trying to make them the same to make you feel good about your opinions!! And, guess what, you're failing at it!! I'm the one doing the testing and I test the way my editors want me to test!! The day YOU pay me to do the test, I will happily do it the way you want me to!!
No way that is 35 ounces
I don't blame you for asking, nobody reads all the comments
Again, let me repeat the story for the umpteenth time.
When this revolver was released, the Taurus USA Site and the paperwork they sent us with the early release of the revolver had the wrong weight, none of us thought to actually put the gun on the scale to verify that the stated weight on the paperwork was wrong!! Someone didn't know how to convert grams to oz.
They had the wrong weight on the site until we told them it was wrong!!
Maybe I’m ignorant but to say that two locking point is a custom feature is simply not true. Every ruger has a similar lock except the lcr but it has the ball detent on the ejector rod. All the S&W I have handled also have two locking points. I thought that was just kinda standard. Very cool gun, the one with altmont grips and the grey Vera oat is for me.
None of the Ruger I've ever owned had them, but I haven't had one in over 20 years, so!! The Ball detent on the crane has always been a custom touch, but like I said, I haven't run any of the new Ruger in a long time!!
Smith and Wesson revolvers have two locking points. Ruger GP 100 and SP101 and Redhawk revolvers have three lockup points. See below the verbiage. It is a big feature they have touted for years on their website:
Triple-locking cylinder is locked into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for more positive alignment and dependable operation shot after shot.
