Looking good Mike. Your choice of compression ratio is sensible you are right, one sometimes wants a reliable unstressed wide power band with a clean burn.

I'm impressed at how detailed and meticulous you are in many things like your leather fabrication and detail on your builds. I don't know if you like him or not because you're friends with Randy, but Weird Beard and you have a lot in common.
I have never met him so I have nothing bad to say about him personally but I have seen a few thing in his videos that I caught that was very questionable to me. Just in the way he did things, but I have done questionable things myself!😂
Let me ask you a question. If you are not certain if the bolts go through a water jacket or not, does it hurt to put RTV on all your head bolts?
Not at all, just make sure you have clean threads so it sets up well.

It's coming along well,it probably won't be to long before you fire it up I'm not sure if there is a time period if you build a new engine till it runs I know you would know it looks like a good set up . I'm excited to see it finished too along with the video on monkey Mike's Volvo
The Volvo video should be out next week. Been fighting extreme heat waiting for a day the paint doesn’t dry when it leaves the gun!

No wrap! The undercoat is ceramic based so shouldn’t need it! Besides, you will see why I don’t want to wrap it!!!
