So cute to listen people who do projects and humbly state what went OK and what went wrong: people doing nothing never do mistakes... Sharing your experience will help all builders!
Thank you for the honest and to the point video! So many van regret videos are far too lengthy and never get to the point. Great presentation quality, perfect music volume, and fantastic filming here. Thanks for sharing! Safe travels! -Tim
Awesome video!! We all make mistakes/learn as we go 😁 the doors hitting the rug would annoy me 😂 we will need to make sure we remember to add to kicks!
You don't need much space, probably 3 or 4 inches on all sides so that heater can breath, and then making sure where the heat comes out there isnt an object in the way. We have a link to our Espar Heater in our description below, you can get $100 off your model.
This is like the third maybe fourth van video I've watched where the kick toe thing was mentioned....might be something to that🤔
sure is!
Another reason for doing a toe-kick space under the cabinets is you can turn them into drawers for infrequently used items.
yes! great for canned items
Good point about the cabinets. We’ll definitely add a bit extra so we’re not kicking the cupboards all the time :)
A good idea forsure, let us know how your build is going!

we appreciate hearing this!! Sometimes stuff happens then you shrug your shoulders and move on hahah!
I have a big Air Conditioner doesn’t go so you have talked me into just unbolting it and selling it for scrap
Kick Board: do you mean "Toe Kick"? If you want space for a rug, you don't need a toe kick, just start your cabinet doors one inch above floor.
yes, toe kick!!
Can you put a fan like in roof in back window
