Great review. I'm definitely getting these wheels. White and green.
You shred!
Thank you! I hope you like them!
Great video! I've had my 56mm dragons for about five months now and I love them. I've been thinking of going to the 60mm rat bones or the big boy 64s this season, but after watching your video I'm leaning more towards the 60s.
Thank you! Yeah I would imagine the 60mm would be a little easier to work with.
that 50 50 to airwalk was fly man
Thanks I love that trick!
The green 64mm Dragons are gonna look dope on that Vallely 😎
And dont think I've ever seen a lime green set of indy trucks. And a green tailbone
That would look amazing!
I like all of your tricks. I like the assorted different grab tricks. You've got a lot of them. In particular, I liked the kick flip/grab foot plant thing you did. And couldn't believe it looked like you did an actual Japan Air off that small bank? (I think that's what it's called, Mute grab taking the back foot off) Pretty rad in my book.
Thank you! that was actually a mute pisser. I feel like it has to have a bit more of a tweak to be considered a Japan.
Also grabs have always been my favorite part of skateboarding so I have probably focused on them a little bit too much!
Hmmm, maybe those are what im looking for. Im wanting to set up an go everywhere board i can bring on family trips.
These would work pretty well but I think the smaller 60mm ones would work just as well and also be a bit lighter
Thanks for the review Casey. I like the Rat Bones Dragons a little better for old school setups. That's what I have on my Vallely deck. They're 60mm. So, the height isn't quite as extreme. The contact patch is about the same as with the G Bones though. They're offset wheels. So, you need to size your trucks down a 1/4" because the wheels add about 3/8" to the overall width of your trucks. At the moment, I'm actually using them with Indy 144s on my Vallely deck believe it or not.
That sounds like a pretty sick setup!
Oh this sounds like my perfect size. Just picked up a Santa Crus Roskopp 9.5" deck, currently rocking Indy 149s and they look a little small.
@@skate_oasis If you measure the board at the axles, what is it? I've been usually going by the width at the back axle. But, I have a Saiz deck that is 10", but, 8" at the back truck. On that one, I will probably use Indy 159s and let the wheels overhang some on the back. There are a couple people sponsored by Powell with that deck using that size trucks on that board. If it's something like that, probably I would measure at front and back axles and them maybe split the difference.
Just ordered a set of these, i don’t mind the regular gbones but kinda interested in how these feel
Hope you like them!
@@bigdeckenergy8119they should be good, they gave my neighborhood a fresh paving a few years ago, so my streets are pretty smooth now, but some spots are a little bit bumpier where I skate
Cool review. Curious on how they perform on fast transition/ bowl.
Thank you! I wish I knew, unfortunately the only bowl around here is about two hours away so I haven’t had a chance to try.
My friends and I learned Ty Slides and Berts on Road Rider 4's. It was '76-'77. We have it easy now.
I bet it was rough on the old wheels!
@@bigdeckenergy8119 We didn't know anything different, so it was the most fun I'd ever had on a skate. Then Tunnel Rocks came out and things got out of hand until we got used to how slippery they were. Then Sims Snakes, Powerflex and finally 93A Krypto Greens came out in that order. Damn, that was a great time to be skating! 😁
Thanks for the video,,,, Are these wheels good for bowl?
They grip the transition and vert walls really well but would throw off my balance on the coping because they are much larger than I’m used too.
I’m thinking about getting the size 58mm, do you think it will be good for everything ?
It should work pretty well 👍 is that the size you normally ride?
@@bigdeckenergy8119 The last wheels I had where landshark HxC danforth 61mm, I think 97a
@@bigdeckenergy8119 last wheels I had where landshark HxC danforth 61mm I think 97a, they where pretty sick
Can we put spacers between the bearings or is the core too narrow to fit them?
It should be big enough to put spacers in. It’s hard to tell by the shape but the core is about the same depth as your average wheel.
Hi, I have 54 dragons and 56 bones rough riders. Do you thinks 64 dragons would be better than my 56 bones for cruising? Thanks and good luck for all! 0:52
I would say stick with the bones because they are softer but I have never skated the bones so I can’t really make a comparison.
Wonder how they would for bowls/pools?
@@KeithCanisius haven’t gotten a chance to try in bowls but they did feel pretty good on the mini ramp
Thanks, I thought they were 97a. I think it's the G Bones I'm curious to try. Might be better in the park and bowl. Sliding slightly better.
I love your Tricks!
Thank you 🙏
Thank you Casey
No problem!
Great review!!
Thanks big guy!
