I visited Lubbenau/Blota last Sunday and fell in love with the place. Had lecker Kuchen at the town`s square in a cozy cafe with extrremely friendly staff. I loved the barge tour, the beautiful wooden houses with gardens, the tranquil canal waterways, the museum in Lehde. I speak a Slavic language related to Sorbian so it was funny to see the name Blota which in Polish means mud. I bought 2 sets of Spreewald Gurken which are a must if you`ve seen the movie "Goodbye Lenin". I will definitely go back there when I`m next time in Berlin. I love Spreewald!
In the US, you could not have rented that kayak without wearing a life vest and most likely helmet. Also signing paperwork releasing the company from all liability if you drown. So much better in Germany as they seem to still value personal responsibility and lawyers haven't ruined every experience.
@@tm--- Hainich is a very old forrest, but there was a time in medieval where many many forrests were used all over Europe for Ships and burning You have to see, Germany has a much higher densitiy of people since always compared to the countries you counted
Hannah, you have picked up on so many languages being so smart. That is so awesome. When I save up enough money, I will come visit you and take you to dinner and we will walk and talk in your favorite country. If you are available. You are so perfect and travel like I would like too. And you make money doing it.

hannah asking the question we all wanted answered 😆

That fact that I instantly knew *which question* you meant really highlights, for me, just how right you are.
It's one of the dream destinations of my life.
Neat! Who'da thought 1 could kayak over there.. (There'll be an 'out-takes' video of this episode, right...?🙃)

What a vibe
wonderful nature and trip
Next year definitely ❤
I so hope it doesn’t dry up. Hard to imagine.
Given that a lot of Germany’s rivers dried up this summer it’s really not that hard to imagine.
@@cboy0394You mean it really is hard to imagine
Awesome👌
Giethoorn in The Netherlands has a twin sister!
Der Spreewald besteht nicht nur aus Lübbenau und Lehde!
Does Germany has untouched wilderness...like USA, Canada, Australia... 🤔
All German forests have been cultivated at some point, but there are also national parks
@@jf7920 Means...it has no such wilderness!

@@HippasosofMetapontum that's true...
I wanna know, are there houses in Germany with big backyard and garden --- like acerages 🤔
Yes, much more poetic than melting glaciers lol 😂
Is this where the abandoned amusement park is?
No, you mean the Spreepark. It's in Berlin's Plänterwald, a huge park within the city.
I want to go spreewald!
You definitely should!
Take me with you next time .
I've seen a Char/Saibling in the waters. This species prefere to live in very clean environments. Spreewald waters must be really natural and clean.
Hannah Hummel looks like Baby Spice Emma Burton of Spice Girls
Better than America 🤠😉
itchy beaver
climate change has nothing to do with the odd year or two of dry summers, but other than that bit of WEF nonsense I quite enjoyed the video.
