BULL - Ford screwed that upcoming city, the Yennessee taxpayers, got that government tit and won't let go. The mayor of Stanton said it's too big to go under. Ford flat can't product this electric crap, knew it, has a massive plant being built, and backed production and jobs 3 years. You know what FORD.

      @zenithperigee7442 Місяць тому +1

      @cliffh8486, actually it's just more repetitive work which was part of the complaint of "assembly lines" in general. In the case of vehicle assembly, it used to be even more tedious and dangerous to workers. Now most of the dangerous and "hard work" is actually done by the automated equipment as well as hydraulic equipment. While this is obviously not just "sitting behind a desk", it's not what I'd consider "hard work." You find "hard work" in construction. There is some work in the automotive field which would qualify as "hard" and that's usually the "repair" of these vehicles where whole engines/transmissions have be removed, rebuilt/replaced. Try doing that in a "Mechanic's Shop" or worse, "in your own backyard" especially in your 40's, 50's, 60's, it's a "SOB!" What these people are doing here pales in comparison, especially being "indoors" I climate controlled rather than being outside in -10° to 40°F weather, cold & wet or in 100°F+ temps with the sun baking your skin & draining every ounce of energy out of you....

    One of the main reasons these vehicles have build quality issues is because too much is focused on efficiency over proficiency. Productivity is important but quality is even more important. These lines move too fast and focus too much on time of completion rather then proficiency of what's being completed. To put that in the hands of the quality control staff is not only redundant and modestly works but is mostly ineffective when you should have quality controlled engineers defaulted on that to begin with. There are stunning sites of fantastic engineering that should definitely be applauded and hopefully as these designs get more and more complexed there will be more of a focus on proficiency rather then just efficiency ✌🏽♥️ 🇺🇲

      As a tech for Ford of 8 yrs, it seems as though their robotics (not just the ppl on the assembly lines😂) have alot of calibration issues thus causing some of their defects right from the assembly line. You should take a look at their TSBs and some of this will dwn right make you spit out your coffee. Make sure your sitting dwn when you do read them.

    While Ford Quality control is still spotty, if you get a good one they are great vehicles. Why pick between a Mustang and a Bronco when you can have both? That's what happened by chance in my life.

    I hate new cars i just hate it, old fords and lincolns from early and late 2000s are the best but now they are becoming newer and newer for example when you reach 120,000 miles you get problems but luckily i own a 2008 lincoln navigator it has about 322k kilometers and it is running strong it is a beast i love older american cars from the early 2000s and middle 2000s and late 2000s due to its reliability.
