    I have always exercised high impact workouts with the illusion to lose a bit of weight as a result of injuring my body..Fasting was the light at the end of the tunnel that s when ai experienced shredding sizes..I exercise now moderately just to keep my muscle and joints healthy! Ty

    I am pretty advanced both in fasting and working out. I've recently run my PB half marathon in moderately fasted state (18 hours fast). I usually run zone 2 even after longer (up to 42 hours) fasts. I try to do resistance training always after a long fast just before fast breaking, in order to make use of the increased growth hormone. The only thing that I don't like doing in fasted state is HIIT.
    My biggest question remains however, how to get enough protein while doing therapeutic fasting. Currently, I must always choose between losing weight or building muscle, very hard / close to impossible to do both at the same time.
