A single state can not do even old new deal type of policy now as you simple can not tax your rich or your corporations, as this simple hide there profits somewhere else. You can exit EU, you can not live global capitalism. Capitalism and state was always integrated, one can not exist with out other. So, now you need global state to run capitalism or you need to move away from capitalism. Choose one, you can not have both.
