no way i thought this would work. Bought a couple of cheap fobs on Amazon $16 Canadian and it actually WORKED. Wow was i surprised. They lock and unlock obviously so very impressed

If anybody's watching this I bought a Ford pickup truck but I also had had a wrecked Ford van so I had a bunch of these Ford key fobs hanging around. I did it twice just like the video said and it didn't do it. I thought I was turning the key pretty fast at times but I did it real fast the third time and it worked like a champ. Thank you very much. Now I got a whole bunch of programed key fobs just in case.

Vlad, thank you so much! I couldn't get help from Ford. The other videos and written information wasn't working. Just found your site for the F-150. Been trying for months to reprogram our two remotes for our 2009 Ford Focus and your information worked perfectly! Thanks again for the video and the correct information to turn the key 8 times, not 4 times and not 6 times. Do it 8 times. Then, you'll hear the locks program set up with the locks locking and unlocking then set the remote by pushing a button.

After attempting a few times (as indicated), I was able to program a FOB I got from a junkyard. The tips were very helpful to understand the process.

I’m watching a bunch of videos. Yours explains way better. I’m still having a problem with the new remote. The old remote is good. The new one locked and unlocked once and didn’t do it again. I feel like I’m going insane. It’s a brand new remote I got today. We’ll see. *******Much Later******* I tried it once more (after I ejected my tape thingie connected to my iPad) and it worked. Thanks so much. I’m in Las Vegas, and I’m sitting in the hot sun determined to get this done. A man just came up to ask me if I was ok, if I needed help. He did mention door open and unlocked. What he didnt say is keep foot on brake

Thanks. Mine is acting weird. I get my remote to sync(Door locks and unlocks when I press the button on both new remotes)….. but then my door locks don’t respond after setup….. I keep pressing the unlock button on each remote and the panic alarm triggers 😵💫🤔…. Changed the batteries and keep doing the setup and it keeps doing the same thing 😩

The fobs will remember more than one code. I have a fob that opens a f150 and a explorer. The fob originally was for the explorer but I had 3 fobs for it so I programmed one for my f150, now that fob works for both vehicles. ++

I read the instructions and did it and it didn't seem to work... But for reason doing it along with your video it worked! Got my broken fob that came with the used vehicle plus the two I ordered online for like 10 bucks. ... So much better than my BMW keys cost couple hundred dollars lol.

This was great, but even though I had both my fobs with me when I did the reprograming procedure only the one which didn't work is now working. The original working one lost its program and I can't get it to take a new one. I have repeated the process multiple times, swapped batteries, changed the location of the fobs in the vehicle, etc., and I can't get the other one to work again. Not that big of deal though, the other fob is my wife's.

If you have your owner's manual, this is described in much greater detail. Doors must be unlocked with the door switch and cycling the ignition switch has to be done in less than 10 sec.

I had the same issue. I was able to fix by cycling a bit faster the next go round.

I have a 2004 F150. I had to shut the door after unlocking it in order for the 8 ignition turns to start the lock\unlock programming event.

Thx...this worked on my 2002 ford F-150.
I have an 01 econoline. I tried this method 6 times altering my speed and got frustrated when nothing happened. the last time I did it 8 times and nothing so I kept going. at 10 times the locks cycled and I was able to program my remotes!
