Soemtimes we’re watching body horror being actively committed onto the character being edited in the character creator, other times we’re simply watching stone being chipped away and chiseled at from a large block of marble, watching their true form come to life-either way we’re laughing, whether it’s at their expense or not! Truck Shepard and Uncle Barry for sure fall under the former category though-possibly also the baby monster king with several diseases and _maybe_ The Final Pam, but part of me also believes they truly were always meant to be and always will be that way. The boy mayor is body horror for sure, “he is a human ransom note!”

The character arc that Jimmy Whale goes on from horny to concerned about the shark's wellbeing is just excellent. I have to really credit the writers of this season of Monster Factory on that one
I haven't been so absolutely horrified by a Monster Factory creation since Truck, and I'm still shocked that this was completely createable with just normal game, no hacks needed. They really just took this normal shark man and turned him into a massive gulper eel man with a body of like 30 fins, a dumptruck ass, a front-curling tail, and named him Uncle Barry. What a wonderful world we live in today.
Imagine you're a soul floating through a black void, when suddenly you're pulled into a body. And in the last few seconds of darkness just before gaining sentience and opening your eyes you hear these two laughing.
I hate how much I started off thinking how cute the little fin wiggle was whenever they moved it and how much it upset me whenever it moved in the end. Context truly is everything.
You know, many Monster Factory video thumbnails feel kind of like spoilers, but this one was absolutely incomprehensible to me. My mind could not fathom what this creation had even started out as, nor what it had become. On a related note: this is the first monster since Borth Sampson to make me a bit sick to my stomach. Excellent work as always, boys!

Currently re-listening to the finale of TAZ balance and heard Mavis refer to Barry Bluejeans as "Uncle Barry" and this horrible creature was immediately conjured into my mind.
After this video, I actually installed and played Chimeraland, and let me tell you, it is b a d. The UI is probably the worst I've ever seen, the translation is horrendous, and the amount of pop-in is unbelievable. I did find something that I PRAY they'll cover in the next video, which is the fact that you can turn your PETS into beautiful little pieces of evidence that God does not exist. For merely 100 cowries, I was able to turn my starter horse into A Thing That Should Not Exist. He is the size of a chihuahua, his front hooves are somehow BEHIND his back hooves, and his legs are so thin that in places they simply vanish, making him look like a terrible, equine Ray Man. If you call this game anything other than a goldmine for Monster Factory, you're a liar or a fool.

I seriously cannot fathom how perfectly suited this game is for Monster Factory like, it has everything the boys have been searching for in games since day 1. The range is absurd. This HAS to be a mini series, if not a playing the game one, a Just Like Art one would be perfect.
