- Sumo's Projects put down a challenge to make something functional out of scrap wood and the video cannot be longer than 3 minutes. I threw in an entry and I was blown away by the overwhelming response.
I was fortunate enough to be a winner of that challenge so in this video, I go into more detail so you can make your own bottle opener from a stick, plus I show you two more awesome projects I made out of sticks and then I open the prize pack that I won for the challenge. Enjoy.

Thanks, yes I have a few ideas but I need to be sure that I do it justice.
A big, blocky bottle opener is great to have on the dining table, because it won't disapper in the clutter or wander away with someone thirsty!
And that stud finder is definitely broken... 🤪

That 5yo wandering around with a tree branch in his arms had me concerned for a bit.
HAHAHAHAH It actually took me a few goes to understand what you meant. Then I clicked!! Yeah it was a little confronting to see myself beardless, I have other old content I am yet to post so there will be a bit of that hahah!! Thanks for your support.
I love your stick projects, I think I will make a stick snowman, gnome, witch, fairy, ... but they too will be bottle openers that are also cute decorations! You have my inspiration firing on all cylinders. It's perfect for the back of a Gnome because the beard is in the front and then the bottle opener will be the back so I don't have to add any material. @@mackenziemill hahahah yep! I have two young daughters and COVID lockdown brought some crazy hair styles. My beard has been dyed pink, then it faded out. Then i had strips of pink, blue, purple and turquoise hahah but they wash out very quickly.

Thank you Sumo. It was great fun and I look forward to the next one. One of the unsung benefits is the expansion of the community, everyone was exposed to a whole new range of makers which is inspiring many people in many different ways. Onwards and upwards mate.
Nicely done 😁. You just can't beat a good "stick" video 😂. Having a great deal of trouble in the UK with stock..... all the sticks seem to come in bloody metric... I prefer working in Good old imperial sticks (much better quality)...😂🤣. Looks like you got a nice bundle of stuff from Sumo... you lucky.... stick 😂. Stay safe 😁👍🇬🇧
OH MY GOSH!! A stick video! I hadn't even considered that hahahah and I much prefer the metric sticks, the centipedes and millipedes in the garden love them too!!

hahah there is a lot of beardless content I am yet to share! The kids had put streaks of purple, blue, green and pink in the beard but they are mostly faded now. Maybe I should dye it ginger in honour of your face follicle efforts! hahah
