I'm a software engineer of 20+ years and a gamer. Telling ya, intel is severely undervalued right now. Qualcomm will probably explode over the next year while it has 1 year exclusive rights but what intel has in the pipelines will block the socks off of snapdragon x elite, let alone the rest of the competition. They are not only investing heavily in foundation production (and received large grants from the gov), it will have smaller transistors (18a) sooner than the rest. For AI, they'll also have 100 combined TOPS vs qualcomms 45 with lunar lake.
Additionally, NVIDIA is great and positioned very well, but non-techy people need to know the difference between training and inference. Ai requires lots of GPUS (Almost all are done using Nvidia CUDA tech) to train, but once trained, inference is where it's at. So essentially unless you're expecting everyone to be buying gpus to train ai (not the case) they're goign to need inference chips. This is why I feel Nvidia is over priced right now, the public is ignorant to how things work, though don't get me wrong, Nvidia is an exceptional company that is positioned well and has some amazing tech that has almost no competition right now.. so i don't expect it to go down much for a while... but intel the market is emotional, and everyone is going after the flashy stuff while boring companies like Intel are ignored.. but they've been around for a long time, and they are going to re establish themselves at the top.
I bought INTC earlier this year based on that thesis. Unfortunately it took a dive immediately after I bought & my cost is 45.
At its current valuation it could be an acquisition target, but getting past regulators seems unlikely.
I am waiting for it to stabilize before I add to the position.

@@DividendTalks MSFT is big on Azure and AMZN-well,their AWS is KILLING IT! They will be making money hand over fist for sure. I would also include CRWD,Appl and GOOGL. They are all betting big on A.I. and will most likely pay off quite well.
I'd personally love to see some decent pullbacks on Meta & Microsoft! Both are absolutely monsters and have great future revenue and cash flow paths ahead of them!
I hope so too, but for the time being all they seem to do is create new all time highs 😅

Nah, Nividas tech is way to advanced compared to it's competitors.
Not sure if there are really any competitors for Nvidia at this point only if intel decide to play catchup with their chips for servers.
Nvidia’s target audiences are not the general user but data centers and app makers to use their platform similar to apple’s iOS and App Store or Google’s android and Google play.
AMD is targeting more or less AI PC instead of a platform. Qualcomm is to cellular products and communications.
Each of them seems to have their own target markets and not really competing each other.
Am I wrong? Please let me know. I want to learn.

Market cap are to big for big gains.. look at small caps, in the parabolic run the micro caps will give insane gains! AMS69X has crazy potential for a small cap. This is the accumulating phase
