Rainy/foggy/cloudy weather like this is my favorite. Coming from someone who has lived the last 12 yeas in extremely sunny and heaty Miami, Florida USA... which i personally hate. That's why i plan on moving out of here to the north soon. I can't stand the sun all yearlong anymore.
Visited Peggy's Cove with a buddy back in 2009. We were on a motorcycle camping trip for two weeks through Nova Scotia from New England. Great memories!
My mother was born in Halifax and lived on Peggys Cove until she was 5yr. old. Then my grandma moved them to San Diego. Odd, since all of her relatives (and mine) remained on the East Coast and Canada.
Nova Scotia is a beautiful Province in Atlantic Canada . It is referred to as Canada’s Ocean Playground. When I used to live there I just couldn’t get used to the high levels of precipitation. If it didn’t rain today, it would by tomorrow. This is a wonderful video by the way that reminds me of where I used to call home.
Loved this very much. Not one to be put off by dark foggy days, except if I'm stuck in a dreary and filthy citiy like NYC. Here, it's just magical and the chill would simply prod me to to put some mittens and woolen hat and start walking about to soak up the atmosphere.
Magnificent and mysterious seascape ... I love looking at the small houses and cottages through the ocean mist. Thank you for this wonderful road trip to Perry's Cove!
Video is like a time capsule. So much has changed in the last three years. Cogswell St, Gottingen St, Bayers Rd, 103 overpass, and Peggy's Cove has some big changes that are almost complete. The Cogswell interchange removal might start next year as well. Thanks for posting the video.

Anecdotally, I've found that to be the case many times. Big events for holidays can bring out a lot of people in the downtown area, though. I tend to avoid rush hour(s), crowds, and busyness in general, and I often shoot my videos on weekends, so my videos possibly portray Halifax a little emptier than it is.

Most people find it too cold to drive motorcycles for about half the year.
