I actually moved out of Bridgewater to QC in 2016, I went back every year when I could, but with the pandemic I've been stuck here for a few years now. I miss it back home, so finding this was nice. I was a little more homesick than I thought. Thank you for the video. (Didn't see my George st. but nobody knew where George st. was lol)
Thanks for that. Reminded me of my visit in 2011. Uses to go into town for groceries and beer. Actually stayed in the Crooked lake area. Would love to go back one day.
Riding a bike is for recreation, not transportation. Gas is cheap, it is all designed for cars. I would never ride a bike on the street, too dangerous.
Our culture is very car-oriented. Bikes are for when you’re under 16 in your own small community. Getting one’s driver’s license at 16 is a rite of passage into adulthood. And using a bike for general transportation is far too dangerous. I’m 48 and have maybe ridden a bike for 3 or 4 hours in total since I was 16. Riding a bike on the streets in my city (Calgary) is goddamn terrifying. There are nice bike trails though. The trouble is getting to them! I have to cross the Trans Canada highway to reach the closest entry point.
I was born there! When I lived in the area I was like “what shithole of a town”. Now when I go back to visit I say to myself “what cute little town! I should buy a house here!” 😂😂😂

The average court case costs about $10K. Who pays for it? The taxpayers ergo you suckers in Bridgewater. Good job like always cops, I'm sure I'll do hard time for ''disturbing the peace'' LMAO! I await disclosure but if that joke of a charge is over my flag which we all know it is, I'll happily sue. You may not like my glorious flag, but I'm protected under the charter of freedoms and NS human rights to have my say. Let's wait and see but I do promise that this isn't close to over and will be a lot of fun. 😄
Love your video. I enjoyed the silence while viewing the drive with you. Peaceful.

Use to swim in that lake, use to call it Slippery Rock
Hi it’s beautiful over there, I’m coming to visit this month with my family
birthplace of jim lahey r.i.p😭
Clean and beautiful town
Beautiful town. What are the best places to live and visit in this town?
i love that town !!!
You should give the camera a view to the right and left side. I think it is more interesting to see the area and the houses, not only the streets.
I am wondering about one thing: Why is no one riding a bike? In Europe you would see a lot of people cycling on the streets.

@Louise Vanessa Hey now, Canada is #26. Not great, but could be way worse. The US is 12th, New Zealand is 22.
Lovely countryside
BRIDGEWATER!
I live around here

@@cray6906 Right? 😎
Nice roads. Clean streets. Well maintained public properties. Not many people... I like this place.
They just need a good radio station 😅
I live just outside of Bridgewater
Looks nice, is Bridgetown a safe town ?
Well you see... normally yes very safe. But atm, there’s a manhunt for a guy who stabbed a cop in the neck and also stabbed a K9 so... yeah.
Dakota112 Ohhh really, well crazy people are everywhere
Yup it’s safe but hella boring-
This is Bridgewater, not Bridgetown. Completely different place..
nice video. I’m a small youtuber from Bridgewater :)
nice little town
