The Gear S3 with Samsung Pay via MST is already great. Imagine the Gear S3 with Samsung Pay...that works regardless of which phone it's paired to. If Samsung can make the Gear S2 work without having a Samsung device via extra add-on apps, I can't imagine it can't add that either for Samsung Pay.

The Gear S3 is truly a masterpiece.. Now that's the right direction for smart watches.. A smart watch that does all the basic task a regular watch does but doesn't make you feel bored or left out when your smartphone battery dies(S3+LTE)
I think the new Gear S3 (particularly the Classic) is absolutely gorgeous and easily the most attractive smart watch I have seen! Coming from a Moto 360 2nd gen (46mm) owner, I have not qualms with the larger size but in fact welcome it. My only reservations, and the reason I did not pick up the S2 previously, is the assumed lack of Android app support on Tizen. As a heavy Android user, it may be difficult switching from Google Maps and Music (paid subscriber), which were some of the killer apps that convinced me to buy a smartwatch in the first place. I will be looking at this watch very closely in the coming months.
UA-cam, UA-cam Music, and Google Play all work with the S2. I even managed to get some other 3rd party music apps to communicate with my watch. On the watch it ill use Samsung's proprietary music software, but it will allow you to play, pause, and skip tracks through it. It will not support many Android apps, but Samsung has opened the software to work on manu Android devices running at least 5.0. Some functionality will be missing of course, but if full android app support is what you want just stick to Android Wear. I've found that majority of the apps that I used worked on my S2 no problem and interacting with the watch/OS was far more intuitive than Android Wear or my OG Moto 360 and Asus ZenWatch 2.
they finally did it right. I wanted a 46mm and they gave it to me. I sent the gear s2 back because the screen was to small. To be fair they should have made a smaller version for people that don't like a big screen. make 2 versions not just one
+Bui Son You can still buy the s2 classic...at a cheaper price..that was too small for me though..I've got to see one in person before I make up my mind. That frontier is soo sexy though. Lol

Solid piece of hardware. I'm currently at 3+ days, Bluetooth off, WiFi off, NFC off and LTE on. Emails, SMS and Hangouts are the only notifications on.
I went to Best Buy yesterday to get the S3 Frontier and that was sold out but I did manage to pick up a S3 classic again I only got it yesterday but so far in the last 18 hours or so I really enjoyed this watch

I'm really interested in this device, partly because my Moto 360 packed up on me last month and I had to bin it (only had it just over a year)..! So yeah, I need a new watch, and this one looks great. Tizen really looks good to me, I'm a bit fed up with Android Wear, even though it has more apps. I don't think that matters so much with smart watches, because as a device they don't have quite the same broad functionality as a smartphone anyway, so a few very good quality, useful apps on the watch is fine for me...
