Honestly, they are all so terrifying especially the stinging pancakes since they can easily blend with the shore, but nah man I'd say thanks to your humorous comments these are less traumatizing. If there's a best narrating award out there this channel should have it, amazing job truly
You forgot the Arapaima. There's a reason Jeremy Wade, himself, is more wary of that fish than any other. Not only does it have perhaps the hardest head you'll ever see on a fish, but it's becoming invasive in the Amazon River, supposedly picking off the less aggressive Piranhas and leaving the more aggressive ones, possibly causing the uptick in Piranha attacks mentioned in the video. As if that wasn't enough, there's rumors that it's making its way toward the USA. Just a few years ago, I read a story of a fisherman in the southern States who found a dead Arapaima in Florida!
😲 With global changing, we should expect to see many new creatures above and below ground, moving around for habitat more suitable for their needs. Where I live, I have noticed bird species from normally warmer and dryer states.
I just had an idea for a video you could do, something about some different candies, like the fun stories behind them, fun facts, and how there made. BTW love your Videos keep up the great work
My uncle, until he got too old, was a commercial fisherman on the Mississippi river, near Muscatine, Iowa (but he lives on the Illinois side). I remember visiting once, when he had a huge snapping turtle in a tub. He teased it with a stick, and it broke the stick like it was nothing. I never want to get near one, that's for sure. What's been pointed out about piranhas, is that they become aggressive in certain low water conditions. Right now, even rivers like the Mississippi and Amazon are drying up. That seems the most likely reason for the uptick in piranha attacks.
My biggest fear in life, like the biggest fear I have of all time is being eaten alive, and I have arachnophobia. I mean MASSIVE arachnophobia. Yet, if I had to choose between holding a spider or letting a predator bite me, I will hold that spider proudly. Because some of these creatures you've shown are just unimaginable and they really make you wonder why they even exist. These arent animals these are monsters!

i had a alligator snapping turtle long time ago for about a week. I found it in a car wash parking lot. this turtle was huge. i brought it back into the woods with a big pond next to it.
I've seen a few of these fish on "River monsters" too, and besides the Pacu fish doing any castrating of men swimming in the rivers, I saw on "River monsters" that even the freshwater blowfish had done that to a guy too. My best friend used to have a couple of fish tanks, and she had a Pacu in 1 of them.
As a snake enthusiast and hobbyist that owns a Burmese, 23 feet long is rare. On average, a Burmese python will grow to be between 15 and 19 feet long. Most captive animals tend to be around 12 feet thanks to selective breeding.
Fun fact: There is a much more larger version of the american paddlefish meet the basking shark a shark that weighs 10,000 pounds and they can reach 45 ft long
A likely reason for the increase of Piranha attacks in recent years is the changes to the Amazon River where they live. With it being damned off or rerouted schools of piranha can get stuck in small areas with little to no food. So when any food comes into the water (aka humans), they're starving and desperate. Piranha are generally very skittish, they don't want to go after big, healthy prey. They're scavengers that eat dead/sick/dying animals and plants. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Also the best way to avoid being stung by a stingray while in their habitat is to shuffle your feet as you walk along the river bottom or ocean floor. This will either scare the rays off before you get to close or will keep you from stepping on one.
Yup! Usually the only humans they end up eating are those who drowned. Which, the Amazon river is very dangerous in general. There is a weird catfish that’s also likely to go after those same corpses tho. Likes to drill into the stuff it finds.
There actually has been reports of snakes swallowing humans however that might have been reticulated pythons in those cases if im remembering it correctly

10:45 I have 2 theories Theory #1 The sea mouse managed to amble on the sea floor until it was perfect for birds to quickly snatch it. After the bird caught it, the bird may have dropped it, letting it rot since it had no way of getting nutrients. Theory #2 There may have been a high tide and the sea mouse decided crawl over there, but as the high tide turned into the low tide, it probably tried to cling on, therefore the tide left it be. What are the chances of those though? There are higher chances of this channel hitting 11 million subs than my 2 theories! Have a good day everyone! I will always like and comment for new facts i haven't learnt of yet!
Devil Catfish!😱 I loved watching River Monster when I was younger and a lot of the time a Devil Catfish was the cause for people dissapearing in rivers.
I'm surprised that both the Bull Shark and the Giant Japanese Salamander weren't on the list. There's even a legend about the Giant Salamander swallowing children whole. They call it the 'Kappa'.
21:17 in the Backwoods of Kentucky, there is a man that relocates the breed of snapping turtle, mentioned on his show called "Call of The Wildman". People on the show call him turtle Man.
why do so many people think of drowning as one of the worst ways to die? It's relatively mild compared to all the horrific ways of death. Drowning doesn't really hurt. When I think of horrific ways to die, I think of being burned alive, cooked alive, torn to shreds while alive, being tortured alive. Stuff that actually hurts...
Oooh!!! I grew up eating Snapping Turtle Sauce Picquante in South Louisiana!!! My Cajun Grandpa made it sooo spicy 🌶 that we kids would actually sweat while eating it! When I went back for a visit, (I moved to MT) I went to a restaurant & ordered it & it tasted just like Grandpa John Boudreaux used to make it, but not quite as spicy, so naturally I reached for the Tobasco on the table!!! Best thing I’ve tasted in YEARS!!! 🤗💝🌶🐢💝
I didn't even have to know how dangerous they were as a kid, just their sounds and size were scary enough. lol Tbh idk much else that sounds so damn scary as the hippo's noises, except cougars and wolverines.
NZ , has 2 species of eels - long fin , and short fin . Both will find blood in the water easily & they do bite - teeth face backwards ; they've been observed pushing a drowned sheep against an outgoing tide , in a tidal creek - they were entering both ends of the animal . I'm certain that one of Sir David Attenborough's series came to NZ , to check out not just the eels , for which a dead deer was put in a lake , with a little diluted blood dropped in the water - a crew member , was in a chainmail suit , and they took to him , trying to get thru the mesh . The other thing they came to film , were Trout eating mice , - an occasional seasonal event , which is dependent on the last seasons beech tree flowering & seed setting . There's also a very small species of catfish in Brazil , in the AMAZON RIVER , that gets up urinary tracts - it normally gets into fish , to live out it's life . In humans , it has to be surgically removed , due to its fins , which act as hooks , keeping it in place against the stream - to stop this fish , carry a 'tea strainer' with you , to pee thru . Then they can be sensed hitting the wire mesh of the strainer , trying to swim up your urine stream - the other option , pee in a bottle & recycle the bottle after each use .
I have a extreme feeling that be amazed got the idea from casual geographic because this video is made later from the halloween special from casual geographic

Did you know that the Monkfish is one of the most delicious fish to eat because it tastes almost exactly like lobster tail! When in season, many high end fish restaurants here in California serve it. It's not as pricey as lobster but it can be higher in price than other fish on the menus. It's very mild and very tasty. Try some if your can find it. Highly recommend it! 😀🐟🦞🍴🍻🧑🍳😲😋
Wait! You are saying something lives in the Thames? I thought it was just one big sewer. But then look at the dogfish in New York harbor. As a member of the anglerfish family, you would expect the monkfish to have venomous fangs or fins. BTW, here in the Ozarks we have some really Big spoonbill, but you hook them by snagging. Best horse it in though, and beat the alligator snappers; which can also be a real pain when yer noodlin. We don't have crocodilians, but we do have alligator gar. And water moccasins. And now, E. coli .
My husband and I were fishing in south Louisiana where we lived and hooked an alligator gar as long as our boat; needless to say we could not get it on land so we had to cut it loose!
