It’s a new toy! I love that I wouldn’t have to be using my fabric sewing machine for paper. Also, my regular machine does not like bakers twine and such. I asked her and she said, no. lol thank you

What they might not tell you is that you should clean the machine often because the build up of lint from the thick thread will effect your machine tension. Have fun 😀

Hi! That sewing machine is so much cuter than my boring white one :-) Most sewing machines have a little notch on the back of the foot arm that is sharp and you can use it to cut your thread material easy instead of grabbing scissors. not sure if this one does but would be worth looking for.

? I have a Singer machine that I use for play. I'm wondering if I just buy the 18 and 21 needles by WRMK if it would work the same? I really don't want 3 sewing machines. Lol. But if I have to I will.
    Your thoughts please

Thanks for the review! I don't need another sewing machine but wow this one is sooo tempting. I am going to try to figure out if I can sew with twine on one of my regular machines and if not I just might have to give in and get one of these. I love the idea of sewing with paper!

Hot too from someone who has been seeing for 40 years. Do not put the bakers twine in the bobin. Find a regular weight sewing that matches the color of the bakers twine and put that in the bobbin to make your stitches on the top side of your card not look pulled or distorted. Your machine will work a lot better and will be less likely to jam and break.

I want a Cricut and Embroidery/ sewing machine sooooo bad!!! Wow this is really very nice too for paper!! I have the first Cricut and Silhouette and still use both but time to update but for now my focus is on me and my daughter's health after getting Lyme money can be tight for big purchases but saving for the Mint Green Cricut I want so bad first. Enjoy all of your videos and reviews so much!

Have done a card on your sewing on your shelf in your craft lab...I have the same machine and wonder about trying it. Do you think it should just stay for fabric only...I would change the needle and keep paper needle...what are your thoughts?

Thanks, Melody, you make good sense. I have a Babylock that is excellent for fabric. I am going to follow your lead....thanks, again.

Mine did not come with cards and envelopes. Side compartment only had the small bag of bobbins and one extra needle and that was it. Sewing was a complete nightmare. The stitches were so tight no matter what I did to correct it. Needle after needle broke time and time again. Aaaaaggha.. I wanted to love this machine so bad. It’s cute and that’s about it.

Thanks so much for this unboxing and demo! I just purchased the same one and haven't sewed in years. You instilled confidence, much needed lol. Please do more of these!! I am also wondering how we load the small bobbins..hmm, much to learn on this new crafting adventure. Thanks, and subscribing for further vids :)

Thanks so much for the great video, but I do not like all the look of the twine from the bobbin side. Even the practice swatch had a few errors. I am going wait and see what you make with practice. Is it a light machine or is it heavy? Does it go in reverse? Again, great video as always!

Thanks Melody! Your video was helpful. Now I want one again. Seems easy enough to use and I liked the effect of the twine on the card stock. If I do decide to purchase a Stitch Happy I will wait until May 9th. I sew a LOT but don't want to use my sewing machine for scrap booking and card making.

You could cut a block/strip of thicker craft foam and add double sided tape to stick to your current sewing machine. i do this now even for fabric, it works great! :-)

I know this is late but you’re supposed to lift the presser foot, place the material under the foot and then lower the foot. Not lower the foot and then feed. It can cause the thread the knot.

I haven’t seen a good review on this machine yet. I heard it had cardboard on the bottom and is very loud. I was going to get one but not now. I have sewn on paper for years with no problems. Just be sure & use a separate needle. I’m going to save my money & use it to buy more supplies. I don’t need another machine anyway. Thanks for your time. I would like to hear from you again after you’ve used this for awhile. I bet your opinion will change.

I bought this machine I tried different tensions but when I start to sew the tension is so tough and I can't get it to go does anyone else have this problem. I called the 1800 number to get help which is displayed on the back of the instruction book and it said number not available. Don't know what to do now any suggestions. I would appreciate any help.
