I think once he plays a couple of games with Mark he'll level up. Assuming Mark actually ends up being good at this game and doesn't play like a crash dummy in a chair. But I don't think Leland is actually bad at this. It's really hard to call Ben out. Dylan tried and failed most of the time so I don't think Leland would do much better. Imo a majority of the times Ben has lost is because of bad luck or the others getting him shot with manipulated call outs. Losing to Desmond and Dylan in this game is not an anti-feat. They _both_ use tactics that force you to call them out even when the odds of them lying are not favorably high.

Dylan keeps trying to bait the person into calling him on the very first round. You get rid of your safety net (playing true cards in later rounds when they are more likely to call you). If he played 2 lies instead of 2 true cards in the first round he’d be set up to win.
Yea idk wtf he's thinking, nobody calls on the first round so trying to bait them then is just pointless, it's better to wait until later on when they have to start calling each other then you use your true cards

If it was a table of strangers it makes sense, but when you know each other and are on comms things change.

KEEP PLAYING THIS PLEASE I LOVE THIS GAME
Here are some tips
1. when its a queens game and you have a hand like QQQKK
2. play the 2 K as fast as possible then your last turns are guranteed to be safe
3. essentially calling liar on early turns is a 50/50 and your gambling on uncerntainty
4. You need to be calling liar on later turns when the others are more likely to have been forced out
5. tldr stop spam calling on singles and play your bad cards first
P.S. getting your hand to 0 cards is a very god way to gurantee safety
