Our Marriage Enrichment classes at my church just went through his #struggles dvd series and it was well received and so timely. Technology should be embraced but as Christians we need to put boundaries on it so that it doesn't hinder our witness of Christ to others or make us slaves to it.
Although technology does help us to connect with others, it doesn't take the place of real face to face connection by putting effort into visiting with others and being there with others.
The study guide had a wonderful "Ten Commandments for Using Social Media to Grow Your Faith and Share God's Love" which was really thought provoking!

I agree. Technology should not be our first way of communicating but maybe a supplement when face to face isn't possible.
This message is an answered prayer. I am actually confused at first if it is OK to just listen to online sermons/messages and not to fellowship so much as I am a person who is full of insecurities, so not meeting with fellow believers is my comfort zone. This is a wake up call for me and I pray that I will be able to catch up. Thanks Pastor Craig. You are so anointed and I thank the Lord for your life. Keep on soaring for Jesus!

This is an amazing series! Learned so much!
This is definitely something I will be working on, I truly got close to Christ by the help of technology, UA-cam or the Bible app, which I also have attended in Person, but getting to know Jesus fully, but not totally understanding everything, had me searching more and more for more of Gods word from wise Pastors as Yourself. The problem is, the balance of sermons/ versus time with Christ followers to Family in Person( not engaged) I truly do need a schedule or a limit for Myself, so that I don’t turn His blessing into a curse. Thanks so much for the great sermon!

It seems ironic to share this on facebook...but I'm going to. I have heard a lot of women (moms) who have a deep loneliness. Maybe this will help someone see things a different way.

I love my phone because my husband and I can text I love you during a long work day. I wake up daily to an I love you message from my husband and it feels awesome. I am able to text I love you to my children who live far away from me, but how I would throw my phone away for genuine face to face time with them.
