I believe we were in the national park - Oceanside camping. Yes, the family on the next campsite were pretty close, but it was fine. We had a few kids running into our camp, but the parents offered us wine and chatted with us a little.

My family and I camped at Assateague state park last year. It’s such a beautiful place to camp and it definitely got cold at night.

The state park side bathrooms are upgraded and extremely clean

What loop did you camp on? Did you have electric? We’re your fairy lights usb or battery?
Have the most amazing time! Assateague is wonderful! We were on Oceanside. No electric, the fairy lights were battery operated.
Are there horse droppings?
Yes haha. Quite a bit of horse poo everywhere.
