Randy has given us the gift of laughter when it would be so easy to cry at all the bigotry and hate we see in today’s America.

This was an absolutely wonderful speech. You never lost sight of the serious nature of the foundation and the injustice that it fights but you made us laugh all the same. What a privilege it must have been for those who were able to listen to it live. And what an honor for you to receive this award. In today's world, we are hard pressed to find someone to help us through the difficult times. I'm so pleased Randy Rainbow was chosen as an Honoree for this foundation because let's face it - if ANYONE deserves it, it's him! He has brought so much laughter in the face of hatred and bigotry - he has such a wonderful gift, and I hope he continues.
