4 icons from across the age spectrum in Kpop - Uhm Jung Hwa (54), Lee Hyori (44), Jessi (34) and Hwasa (28) - all 4 known for their Ssen Unni (strong-minded/determined/tough/rebellious sister) image. They couldn’t have put a better supergroup together.
The reason they were named Refund Sisters is because Yoo jaesuk (the host/MC of Hangout With Yoo) said jokingly that if these 4 were grouped together, they look like those women who went back to the store to get a refund and managed to secure their refunds based on their unmatched intimidating auras alone 😂😂😂😂
This was made at the height of the pandemic. You need to watch them perform it to an empty stadium and are greeted with "virtual fan chant" their reaction to that always gets me!
I'm so glad you react to this song ! Have this 4 talented women come together is a blessing ! This is what feminin Kpop sorely lacks (in my opinion, as a 59 yo lady) : a group of woman (not young girls) with characters and strong charisma on stage ! Lee Hyori, Jessi, Hwasa and Uhm Jungwa are the true Kpop queens. Nunna power Lol !
Omg can’t believe you got to Refund Sisters! This was sooooo good! I watched the whole show of putting them together during Covid. It was so funny and also heartwarming especially since they couldn’t perform in front of an audience as with all groups/artists. 4 badass female artists uniting to make an amazing group. Legendary
