It feels like even if the other person misses you, they're still able to attack you just as quickly as if they never missed. I have a hard time reading drags and accels (always seeming to block too early or too late), but I think I could chalk that up to inexperience.

I've played mordhau from close to release, to the dark ages of crossroads before they added 1000 changes to it, had my share of insane invasion matches, stupid duels, rp server experience etc, so heres my opinion on this: combo after miss just encourages gambling. Might as well not give a shit about thinking before you swing because you can just accel that combo attack after you miss. you can just mindlessly swing away looking like a helicopter, whiffed out a swing and lost initiative? just combo and accel to get it back! Even worse is that this will encourage bad habits for new players. A new player will enter a server, ask for advice, and you KNOW some veteran gonna just tell them the combo after miss thing, thus perpetuating the playstyle to the next generation. (If the new player sticks to playing.)

I've played mordhau from close to release, to the dark ages of crossroads before they added 1000 changes to it, had my share of insane invasion matches, stupid duels, rp server experience etc, so heres my opinion on this: combo after miss just encourages gambling. Might as well not give a shit about thinking before you swing because you can just accel that combo attack after you miss. you can just mindlessly swing away looking like a helicopter, whiffed out a swing and lost initiative? just combo and accel to get it back! Even worse is that this will encourage bad habits for new players. A new player will enter a server, ask for advice, and you KNOW some veteran gonna just tell them the combo after miss thing, thus perpetuating the playstyle to the next generation. (If the new player sticks to playing.)
