I doubt they would... but they could Secret Lair them. I also strongly suspect Opal will end up getting banned again which is going to be an absolutely shitshow.
all mythic "game pieces" should be available in rare slot to make cards affordable for numerous players. Stock market and collectors have their collector alternative arts. Separate the game from the investment. Every non-rotating format would benefit from new players. Mythic rare slot could be a rare card but borderless foil to make chasing worthwhile
Green Sun Zenith from an MCU set could just be Dr.Strange summoning all the various Spidermans from No Way Home. So Dr.Strange staring at 3 portals with 3 different spidermen emerging from them... Also reprints via secret lair drops seems like the most likely option. They put opal in one SL drop years ago and can do it again.
I'd say green suns is a fair bit more powerful to Mox Opal, but in part due to the fact you can pull a stoney silence on legs. Plus, Titan decks have gotten quite silly, and how fast they pop off. Also if they had planned reprints before unbanning, people would see it as a way to cash in must have cards that can always be at risk for banning again.

How can I explore other formats if playing current formats is already heavy on the money and formats such as modern seems aimed only at the IT guys or something. Regular Joe like me cannot justify buying 4 cards for this price.
upcoming sets could be printed but maybe each card is separate pile and packs aren't assembled until last second. could just drop a mountain of mox opals in next set available not final assembled yet
They need to reprint a lot of cards but also not fuck the player base by printing a $100+ card at mythic. There is no need to do that when this card has already had several reprints. Splinter Twin for goodness sake could be downshifted to an uncommon for crying out loud.
A lot of people are complaining about the price of Mox Opal as if it's not going to see a reprint at some point AND that the prices are inflated right now because people are trying to get their copies ASAP. The price of Opal will go down because sellers will want to take advantage of the hype and start undercutting each other in a race to the bottom. Y'all are fixating too much on the short term. I agree that they need a reprint, and they will reprint it even without you yelling into the camera about it. There is too much money left on the table for them to ignore.
I don't know Standard reprints, but as Special Guests or on a non legal set, I can see some of them reprinted.
