I think it’s fair they don’t connect the dots right away. The only times we had seen Tsukuyomi before at this point was in some completely different realm that didn’t seem like real life, Tsukuyomi here seemed real. So if they didn’t recognize the name it would just seem like some other genjutsu. Also there’s been over 100 hours of episodes between this and when we actually saw Tsukuyomi mentioned the first time… people aren’t going to remember every minute detail.

Itachi loved Sasuke that was the whole point he was never going to kill Sasuke and that shows at the end the only reason they fought was so he could get rid of orichimaru from Sasuke and that’s why when he died he did the original head tap. Itachi was already on the verge of death and to be fair Itachi could of killed Sasuke if he truly hated him at any point but you’ll see in the future
The susanoo is a tengu a spirit warrior that’s a samurai that lives out in the mountains. The spirit trains samurai as well, the big give away is the nose👍

Whether it was the Madara as he’d known him as or not.
