While I was following the steps in your video, I was stuck with an idea of dynamically masking major part of the raster image just to focus on a targeted area based on user selection such as district or village where I want to see only a part of the big raster image. Is this possible sir?
I have added geology data in geoserver, it's visualizing in Openlayer without style but When I am giving style for it then it's not visualizing in geoserver.

No extension is needed for publishing standard raster data....however for installing any geoserver extension unzip the extension files inside....geoserver/WEB-INF/lib/ ..folder and restart geoserver..
@@abnan0001 in the left panel of geoserver home page after login.. click on stores.....and then click on ...add new store ..you will get options for vector and raster data sources...I had used 2.15 version...it was available.in thatalso..

there is one library called geotiff.js for rendering geotiff images directly on web...without any gis server i.e geoserver

Your scanned copy of map should be geo-referenced ..and while publishing in geoserver proper EPSG code for coordinate system may be selected
