I tried to use geoext 3 but I realized that it's compatible with openlayers 4. how did you manage to use it with OL 6 in test_query_panel9.html? May you help please!
I have not used geoext...I have used ext js version 4.2.1 and openlayers 6...gui is designed with ext js and map functions using openlayers.. Geoext was the bridge between openlayers and ext js....one can.use ext js and openlayers also .. For example - geoext had mapPanel function directly...but.one can use panel of ext js and render map.of openlayers in that..it will become mapPanel..

Yes you can use cesium plugin of openlayers..
