Bill Walton died from cancer on Monday. I wanted to share some of my memories, I got to know him a little bit and calling a game with him was a dream come true. #BillWalton
Thank you so much for this. I'm a nobody out here, and I've really been struggling the past few days because of Bill's passing, but this put a big smile on my face.
Touching, me and my whole friend group about 5 of us would go out of our way to not watch Oregon and watch another random p12 game he was calling. Always some lols, wild commentary or something insanely interesting I wasn’t ready for. Rip
This is a human who will be truly missed. I don’t want to diminish anyone’s life, but when people say that Bill Walton will be missed, they are not just saying it as a way to honor him; Bill Walton will truly be missed. A 1 of 1 person. Truly one of a kind. Such a positive person to experience (even though the tv not knowing him personally). If everyone was a bit more like Bill the world would be a much better place. RIP.
