It must had been the most chaotic but an emotional and happiest experience for Pepa as she became a mother to Dolores during that day, there were no dark clouds, there were no rains, there was a rainbow with perfect cleared skies and the sun shining brightly above the Colombia valley.

I have a headcanon that for Pepa's first two births, though it was incredibly chaotic, everything was fine. Because Bruno looked into the future and saw what kind of natural disasters she was going to cause, and they were able to make sure everything was Pepa-proofed before she went into labor. But Bruno was gone by the time Antonio was born, so all they could do was get the townsfolk to the hills and pray.

I could only imagine the mood swings Pepa had to go through during her pregnancies. From what I've heard and seen, pregnancy is one hell of an emotional roller coaster, and if your emotions control the weather, things get even more wild. You're bringing new life into the world, and with it, you're also bringing heat waves, blizzards, hurricanes, what have you. Pepa's gift may be seen more as a curse (as is her daughter's and some would probably argue that her [Pepa's] brother's gift is a curse as well), but she did get blessed eventually by the love of a man that will be with her through thick and thin. Extra props to Felix bring a top grade husband.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who was thinking about this after finding out Pepa's powers. Like, I can only imagine how traumatizing it was everytime Pepa had cramps during her period, let alone mood swings and pain from pregnancy. I wonder how the village even survived Pepa's pregnancies because we were told that Pepa caused a heavy hurricane at her wedding because she was simply nervous with jitters. It’s said giving birth is one of the most painful things to experience if you’re a girl but it just becomes chaotic if you have powers. Especially if said powers are connected to your emotions. So out of all the family, Pepa has the most chaotic power out of everyone since it can’t really be controlled in such a painful situation. Just imagine her saying “Clear skies. Clear skies.” as the whole town is just going through absolute chaos.

well .. it is one of the most painful things (within the normal) ... because you are basically passing an object the size of a small watermelon through a hole that is normally the size of a coin ... so yea 😬 that pain is not easy to describe ..... but if Peppa when she is happy makes rainbows and suns and when she is angry or scared it rains, in this particular situation where she is scared, with excruciating pain, and fatigue ... what will it have been? 🤔

From an outsider's perspective, I imagine the birth would have coincided with at least a day or two of borderline apocalyptic weather, followed by clear skies that would have lasted right up until the first time baby Dolores wouldn't go to sleep on time and woke Pepa up in the middle of the night crying.

If you think about it, having someone with her powers must be terrrifiying. Any day your home and village might be destroyed, because her mood might be not that great that day.
People might have been scared of Bruno, but realisticaly, Pepa has the scary power.
Doesn't help they blame Bruno for her bad moods (it is her powers that cause the hurricane on her wedding day and they blame Bruno for it). Bruno's powers should be seen as preparing you to cope with an upcoming disaster. Like the priest knowing he will lose his hair now buys head shine products ahead of time.

Making venus fly trap or accidentally attacking people with flowers, Luisa would just plow down into the earth and accidentally hurt nurses trying to help her, Mirabel would make the house destroy itself because she's connected to the Casita and Dolores would just put earmuffs on herself to mute her own screaming. These are my headcanons
