Hey man, just wanted to say that this was so helpful….after watching your vid I now have a complete Understanding of the functions of this skidder…I start tomorrow running a model similar to this
@RedLobster55 learn your machines limits, don't do anything you feel uncomfortable with learn all your functions and get comfortable with them and before you know it everything else will fall right into place with seat time!
man , im gonna jump on a 848l tonight, thanks for showing the buttons, i couldnt get the parking brake to release it would go into tow mode, and now i should be able to activate the hydralics
Thank you....excellent basic no BS or type of sales pitch, in other words you work the bush not a showroom floor as most sales guys do. I always judge a Sales Guy by the amount of dirt grease grime under his or her nails!
Awsome video thank you Got a couple questions tho... when you pick up a load sould you clamp it with continuous grapple hold? If not whats it for? And would you recommend locking all 4 tires in a situation or is there any use of having the front locked and not the rear and vica versa?
Interesting. Currently looking at going into forestry coz the pay starts at like 75k (Australian dollars), and can go up to 100k. Long hours apparently, how do you find working?
Could you possibly do a video on proper way to grable ,travel and unload a bunch i was told that tgere are proper ways or set angles to have your grapel while traveling with a load soz to not be hard on the machine
I hear ya, started with a Clark, however, with the recent Court Ruling John Deere MUST allow us owners to be able to repair our rigs ourselves...WE ARE NO LONGER TRAPPED, so if a module or whatever needs swapping out I and we don't need to wait days or weeks for a Field Service Tech to show up and charge us umpteen $$.
@@floydschriber1051 start it make sure the rocker switch for forward and backward is in the neutral position start it and hit the red hydraulic button then when it illuminates hit the park button to turn off the park break then hit the rocker switch to forward and reverse and your good to go. (Both doors have to be shut)

Exactly, we all had to put up with ALL the things Revision II fixed, witch says WTF did JD release the Beta version to us when they admit the flaws were built in to begin with. I mean come on hydra lines being exposed ! yanked ripped to crap when II rerouted them away from harms way....arg! just makes me like a Clark all that much more regardless of its Non-digital world of electronic gizmos. Know what I'm saying?

Are there peddles on the other side for backing up?
They work exactly the same as the front! Just for driving backwards!

In your screen you can check they hydraulic fluid level!
