So nurses do durg people so they can just sit there. They didn't ask to be sick nor did they make you take the job. Maybe get another job if you don't want to be nice to people.
It is satire, comedy, every profession has its inside humor, for nurses it can be a little dark, morose, morbid and yes occasionally obscene, we deal with broken bodies, pain, death, disease, families at their best and worst, management who just don't seem to back us up for whatever reason, you say we chose this work, it doesn't matter it is still a very high stress career putting your hands in people's bodily fluids and excrement and your heart in their well being and then being given the bird as they walk out the door as you try to give them their prescriptions and discharge care instructions. Sadly 😢 a whole lot of us question why we do this because of the way people treat us and I know I am always looking for better less stress and quite frankly nursing is the only major life decision that I think I would change if I had to do it differently. I would fulfill my desire to help people in some other way.
