HNNNGGGG bro it's so refreshing to get Skyrim content! I really appreciated the Morrowind-esque aesthetic with this house, and while it feels Dwarven but it is still drastically different from Skyrim Dwarven architecture. Keep up the great content!

I really like this mod. It caters to Dwemer/Dunmer-oriented characters, but at the same time feels unique compared to the other dwarven ruins in Skyrim and appeals to the nostalgia of Morrowind players.
More importantly, though, I like that it makes sense in terms of the world. If it had just been plunked in the middle of Eastmarch or the Reach it wouldn't make sense, but placing it high in the Velothies that border Skyrim and Morrowind where there would naturally be some overlap in Dwemer cultures does.
I also appreciate the lore connected to the place. A lot of home mods are just that: Homes. Buildings with no personality beyond asthetics and no backstory to explain their presence.
I do wish the living quarters had at least a few racks or mannequins for display, bit beyond that I am very impressed with this mod. Recommend.

Great for my alchemist/mage playthrough. But uhh one thing. Are you me? You were gone awhile right at the time I was having trouble with playing Skyrim yet now when I got it to work, you come back. You're either me....or someone who is related to my skyrim game XD. Still great seeing some skyrim mod showcases again

LOL, when you got into the room with the spider imbuing chamber I asked myself "What do these do anyway? and only a moment later you admit that you have no idea as well.
Lighting is everything. You are so right. And just like you, I prefer the smaller, cozy houses over the giant castles.
For the last part you said about buildings in the world: that's exactly what I thought once or twice. Downloading a home mod just to add it into Skyrim and give it a more "lived in" feeling.
Btw. Did you ever make a video on how to sort out home mods? Some are not only in the same exterior cell but on the exact same place in that cell. And it's sometimes a problem to decide which one to choose because possible overlaps etc. The mod authors do not always state where exactly the homes are. Some you can pinpoint because of images (like the ones at the waterfall in the region of Whiterun - the Aonghus house there for example), others not so much. Thankfully in your videos you point out the exact location - how do you keep track on home mods that might interfere with each other?
I’ve always found it easier to install one home at a time and record the location to make sure you know where it is at in the world. :) I hope that helps ya!
@@RYANT1UM Well, I see that this works especially for the showcases - the question is how you keep or would keep track in personal playthroughs, depending on you play style. - In my playthrough I wanted to have several (in different locations) additional homes right from the start and don't want to fiddle with the Load order mid-playthrough. (because of remnants in the save games) - So, I oriented myself with the help of your showcases in order to avoid installing homes too close to each other. (If you'd ask me it should be standard for authors to show the location) like you said in the Sands Rest showcase that home mods don't play well with each other. But I imagine that's depending on the cell they are put in. I have Ruska near Riften and always wondered if it would work with Sands Rest which is in the same cell but on the other side.
It shouldn't be a problem with, let's say, the hunters house (forgot the name) near Riverwood as they don't share a cell. But some homes are close to each other or even at the same spot so there might conflicts. As you pointed out that just having a bit more elements in the world makes it feel more "lived in".
Btw. are you going to make showcases of extensions like the harbor mods for Solitude or the one "Inns and Taverns of Skyrim" which adds Taverns all over the region? They do not really count as home mods, I know. I found Videos about them but I like listening to you.
I’d say that a rule of thumb is if two houses are within the same cell, you’ll want to stay away from it. Now in order to figure that out, see if it’s within the render range of the home you want. If it’s not, chances are you’re good. Try to stay away from having too “many” in the same area. As for the updates to older ones, most likely! We’ll see.
@@RYANT1UM Thanks for the tip, Ryan. It's a bit hard to see were cells begin and end but to look at the rendering area, thats a good advice at least for things in plain sight.
I didn't want too much but some homes are a "must have" after I watched your videos, like Winter Cove, Wind Path, one of the Breezehome mods, Hunter's cabin, Ruska... Like you I love the tiny, cozy ones. 😁

Sad that this mod was removed along with a lot of other player homes. Like A Sweet As Honey... ect.

Hmmm it might be a load order thing. Try installing the color patch remover. :)
