You’re not wrong. I’ll try and get one out for you. After using it for a year it’s one of my favorite all around boots. My nfs is my go to working boot still though. I save my anthem for almost keeping it nice. I need to get more runs on it though. I’ve ran a few miles in it
Thank you. Right now I’m using them all pretty in depth at the schoolhouse I’m at. Rankings are as follows and why I’m putting them there. 1. NFS 670 (this has become my go to ruck and if I need to one boot to do everything. It’s comfortable to run in and walk around in. Great boot) 2. Bafida (lightweight upper is comfortable and tread design has a lot of grip. It’s heavier though and that’s the downfall) 3. Falcon (a lot of guys ruck in this one but I prefer the 670. It’s comfortable and light but I still personally just don’t like the look) 4. Anthem (this boot has a lot of potential and my biggest issue is my right one hasn’t broken in yet. I think this may be primarily due to Garmont recommending I go a half size down. All my others are 10W and this is 9.5W. My right foot is slightly wider than my left and my left is great and a perfect mix between the 670 and Bafida however it hurts my right foot. I can take the sole out and it works but it’s not there yet. Once it breaks in or maybe I try the 10W this boot has the potential to be number one.)
The Bifida is a Vibram sole also used on other brands of boots ( I have AKU hiking boots with this sole ). The Anthem and the Bifida boots have no cushioned midsole, making them less comfortable than the Falcon and NFS boots.
The Anthem are actually my all around favorites right now for everything. I use my Bafidas for test days and my nfs for running and rucking but for anything boots; my anthems are now my go to
Hello I’m a medic in the Army, I’m looking to get the Anthems, NFS or Bifida. I’m going to be rucking a ton and doing best warrior competition in a couple months. Which boots should I get ranked 1-3 in your opinion
After a year of beating all three boots up at a prelim and full school here’s what I’ve decided: 3. Bifida - I’ve ran in them and used them but these are now my strictly “jungle style boots”. Heavy sole, breathable upper. Strong boot for if I need something super rugged and I’m not running around all over. 2. Anthem - My favorite boot out of them all for what “feels” like quality. I’ve ran in these and worn them but prefer to save these as my nice daily work boots. 1. NFS - These are my go to boots now. I’ve ran miles in them, rucked, daily use them. They are light and most shoe like feel. If I could only have one for everything I’d have these followed by the Anthem
So I really like the Anthems. My NFS are now my go to beater all around boot and my Anthems are my nicer version. I’ve put a lot of miles now on my NFS rucking and running and also have ran miles in my Anthems. The NFS is more like a shoe were the Anthem tends to blend boot and shoe. The sole is soft and helps absorb the impacts and overall has a stable feel. I try to keep them a bit nicer though and don’t abuse them as much so that I have at least one pair of boots that isn’t junked out.
I’m having zero issues with them holding up. That’s running in them and using them in and Outdoors through the day. My personal issue is I was recommended a half size down and my right boot just isn’t breaking in well. I usually wear a 10 as my right foot is slight bigger than my left thanks to an ankle issue in high school. My left boot feels great, so much that I would swap my 670’s for them as my ruck boots. This weekend I’m going to soak them, wear them and then let them air dry to help the fit. If that works for me then these will be the perfect mixture of the 670 and Bafida
@@FreedomCrawler thanks for the response. Currently shopping around for new boots. I really like under Armour, but they start falling apart pretty quickly. My bífidas have been holdin up strong for 4 years now. And these look like a great in between.
Need an update review on this boot! no one else has it!

Great reviews! If you had to rank the Garmont boots 1-4, what would they be? Thank you.

Please make an update video on these. 🙏
Going to try and get one out this weekend. I need to get them all out of my storage locker and show how they’ve done
Hi Just checking how this boot broke in and how you compare to the NFS? How did the tread hold up?
I’ll get you one

How are they holding up in a field / ruck context, especially against the NFS? Thanks

@@FreedomCrawler They sound solid, thanks for the reply!
Did you ever find out if they have vibram soles?
They are not. They are proprietary soles made in USA
I don't know if you're still active here but 5.11 have AR 670-1 Boots now. The Speed and Evo 2.0.
Are the 5.11 Unions approved?

Hell yeah!

@@Dexxtrr I definitely recommend them or the 670’s

"These" and "those" comments are confusing; use the brand, style names instead of pronouns. If you mean Bob, say "Bob," not him.
No worries, you’re the first one to mention any confusion but I’ll dial it in a little better when I do a follow up on their actual use
