Answering about indian labor abroad, The effect of indian economy prosperity will start coming to lower segment of society in 10-15 years. It has never been an overnight turn in any country.
@zaf7794 agreed I have worked so many indian in Uae those belong to lower families and rural areas but they are well established professionals and making millions around the world its all about due to Indian education system.
Wali bhai do you think investing in getstake for long term is safe for Pakistani residents?
Right
Rentals are not haram even if it's fixed
because:
-> backed by an asset,
-> owner bears the risks, and
-> owner bears the maintenance costs of the asset
While investing in stock market is halal, investing in companies with nature of business like alcohol, riba (interest), porn etc are haram. These companies are categorized under non-shariah compliant stocks.
For beginners, they can easily track and identify these shariah screened and compliant stocks in almost all muslim majority countries. This facility is now even available in non-muslim countries like UK etc.
P.S. I'm only a finance student with lots of passion for Islamic finance and hatred for RIBA (haram interest). Lets join hands to eliminate riba from our society.

Muzammil, You are doing a great job. I like your own insight on many areas which makes this podcast interesting. Podcast should not be an interview. It is a two-way conversation on a specific topic of interest.
I graduated from Dow Medical. It is one of the best public colleges in Pakistan in terms of USMLE results. However, the teachers and the education were below par. but since it admits top merit like NED, the results automatically show up and the institution collects accolades. It's a tragedy what we're doing with our best talent. 23 million out of school, those that attend school score poorly, those that defy all these odds and manage to reach the best universities are treated like this.
I agree. As a NED graduate I would admit its one of the most underwhelming university in Pakistan with outdated and poor course structure and incompetent faculty. If its fee was market competitive rather than subsidised by the tax payer, no one would bother going to that shithole.

Let alone achieving FIRE if people could be financially independent even after retirement, one is lucky. There are only few lucky with skills and education and of course acumen who may earn enough and save significantly to achieve FIRE.
Bhai get the 2nd passport and invest in s&p every month. Thats a wining formula. Real estate in pak, gold and/or btc is nothing compare to that. Also $ grows 8-9% every year so you can calculate the compounding impact. Its an 8th wonder of the world!
Also bachay kam paida karen sab. 😂 everything will be good in the end. Play the long game rather than shorter gains. Lol
