Thank you for capturing a couple of songs! It was an incredible night from start to finish. They absolutely NAILED it. And I know at least some of us were there for both :-) I think Caligula are the perfect choice to cover Depeche Mode. I think covering such a well known and loved band must be at least a bit fraught to any musos, least of all an established band with their own music and following. Caligula can stand on their own feet AND do an amazing tribute - just incredible! I love DM so much, I wouldn't really want to watch anyone of a lesser calibre try to recreate the sound. Really, really hoping they grace us with another performance (same album, different album - don't care) 💜🧡❤
I'm actually sure there were plenty there for both 😄 (as it should have been). Yes, it was an incredible night and the band did a great job covering the songs. I'm disappointed that my camera was playing up as there were a couple of other songs which sounded even better than these three. Let's hope Caligula are back on stage really soon.
