Wow, a Topps Stars box. I haven't looked at one of those in a while. Those are some expensive boxes, especially compared to '91 Upper Deck. I've never seen a box of that ripped. Definitely open that someday.
I got a great deal on that Topps Stars box, I won it on eBay a few months ago for around half of what they’re currently selling for. I’ll definitely open it at some point soon!
I think Mike Iuzzolino's biggest claim to fame was that he was part of the Dallas pairing (along with Derek Harper) in the initial release of NBA Jam. The pronunciation, according to the game, is Izz-uh-lee-no.
The Hall of Famer stack was looking pretty bleak there for a while, but there was a nice flurry at the end. I also often think about all the rookies that people are “investing” in these days that no one will remember in 20 to 30 years. Just the thought of somebody “investing” in Chris Gatling or Bobby Hurley back in the day makes me chuckle. 😄 And you definitely need to open that NBA Stars box! 😲
Yep and it makes you think about which of today’s names will be on that list years from now. I can already think of guys like Sekou Doumbouya that have already flamed out in just 2 years, I know a lot of people were paying a ton for some of his big cards just last year, haha. And I’ll definitely open that Topps Stars box sometime during this season!
@@BigJBasketball your right if that maxxey centering was on that LaMelo you would have a serious gem but I did get a maxxey marquee green and it is centered beautifully and sharp corners front to back excellent surface just one lil piece of edge is questionable I may have a 9. But hard to grade cause of the foil.
The problem with this set is Upper Deck printed 100 quintillion cards. It's one of my favorite designs, but the cards usually only have any value if they're graded in a 10 by PSA, SGC, etc.
Jim is correct, just look at eBay now and see how much of this stuff is readily available. 30 years later and the packs and boxes are barely worth more than they were at the time they released in 1991.

@@BigJBasketball Hey now - Sekou got a few minutes of PT last night. 😄
So there’s still a chance! Buy the dip!! Hahaha
It is always so satisfying to watch old boxes being ripped. 💯👌
I agree, I always love ripping the old stuff!
Brilliant, and it would be great to see that 'Stars' box opened.
Yep, I’ll definitely open that Topps Stars box at some point during this basketball season!
Yo big j!
I remember busting scores of this stuff
And still fun to bust now!
very nice
very nice sir
Thank you!
There is value in this Drazen petrovich
There can be some value if graded, but unfortunately as a raw card it’s not worth much
