I know the games has problems but with a top end pc, it looks magnificent. And if you are you are a person who is ok with playing with mods that help balance the game and help improve the experience then the cyberpunk can actually be a very enjoyable game, the draw back is that you need a very good pc that preferably has a nvidia graphic card so you can experience ray tracijg with dlss and get playable framerates. I hope in the next few years the game will make a comeback because personally I really like cyberpunk 2077 and hope more people can enjoy this game in the future. Ps I’m not denying it has problems but if you play on a pc most of those problems can be negated, but I do understand that most people don’t have 5000 dollars lying around for a top of the line pc and I get people who prefer to play on console and they pay the same amount for the game to get a very different experience . I just played cyberpunk a second time this patch. while it lacks many features that many people thought would be there at launch, ps5punk is a super immersive experience now. it crashed 3 times during my 43 hour playthrough, 1 time the textures bugged out and went white and black (I think it was my HDMI), and only around 5 times did AIs freak out and bend in ways that a person shouldn't. I can't speak for anything but ps5 but I loved going back and playing with raytracing and picking a different ending. If you are thinking about buying it, I'd wait until it's more updated as the game is still missing many features it should've launched with like car customization, police system still isn't great, there isn't a metro, and missing the promised parkour. The game is a lot better than it was at launch, but maybe I just have a bad taste in my mouth from its launch. that's my take, thanks for reading
Its runs awful on last gen. To be fair, I've had 1 crash on my 70 hour playthrough on my PS4 pro. I still haven't touched the main story since the audio bugs pretty badly, especially the radio. If I could I'd be playing it on a PC or next gen, but finding a next gen is impossible.
My last playthrough, they nerfed how much money you find on the 1st rescue mission with Jackie. The 1st time you visit your apartment, if you went all the way down to the end of the hallway, you'd find 800 eddies, that was missing. I'd like to know if anyone else can verify it has been taken out of the game.
350 hrs. Haven’t played in many, many months. I have a weird amount of nostalgia for this game. I think I do love it. The story angers me with how linear it is and obviously all the missing features and broken shit kills me. This still has potential if they give a damn enough to finish it.
I got to the point where I could drive exactly where I wanted to without even thinking about it. Jump into any fight on hard and eliminate most enemies without them realizing. I had to quit and come back later. I’ve been having fun coming back and the fact that I hated about knowing EVERYTHING has become fun again. Like it’s fun to sorta remember something about the game and then you were right… idk weird af
I can’t speak for PS5 users but on my Xbox Series X at launch it ran far better and probably as it should have on base PS4 & Xbox One. So far since the most recent patches & upgrades it definitely looks better to me

On series X The game is a lot more stable and better looking but I feel CDPR doesn't really know what they're doing. The crowds for instance. GTA 5 did realistic crowds on the 360 and you're telling me I need a beefcake console for it now? Doesn't make sense.

The game could really do with some repeatable content that doesn't require a new save. Got a character at max level with all iconics and a good build but the only way to really see how it plays is to do don't fear the reaper.
I really thought we are going to have a upgraded witcher 3 and gta v mashup with a scifi twist with cp2077. But it can never be that it seems. I mean it can be better, fosure, but I really wanted those rpg elements that witcher has.

Recently CDPR has started to hire people that have been doing mods for this game. There's a lot of really cool mods out there that actually work but are a little rough around the edges, however, with CDPR hiring those talented modders, I believe we can see some big changes in the future

You don’t see CDPR holding out licenses and killing them for the sake of some extra cash, or charging an extra 10-20$ for the same game on next Gen, or even putting microtransactions in their game. CDPR fucked up with the release of CB77 on last gen consoles, but they have had an extremely positive track record and have always been consumer minded. Also, they aren’t taking every Avenue to steal our money even though they easily could try. They have dignity. Last time I checked, companies can make mistakes like people and still redeem themselves, or do you immediately identify people as fucking trash after their first fuck up. TL;dr: Fuck off, CDPR made a big single fuck up but at least they respect us as the consumer and have dignity, unlike the other AAA studios you mentioned.
There’s definitely some issues still present in the game but compared to how it used to be, it almost feels like a completely different game in the best way possible.
It needs an endgame. New game plus would also be nice. Maybe more endings/story content. The game lacks content and there are many buildings that are locked. I'd love to see a hoverboard vehichle in the game. Just something futuristic that'll let you traverse the skies. That'd be sick
A new game+ would be fantastic. It’d give even more incentive for people to replay the game again with a different lifepath, as a different gender, or choose a different ending.
It also needs activities and some minigames like bike races, some arcade games like system shock 2 or some kind of weird futuristic geek game imagine a side story were V becomes the best hyper cyber VR monster duelist or some shit
There is a car near Judy's apartment with an NPC standing nearby. Just walk up to the NPC and they'll enter the car but it'll blow up as if it was a carbombing after you take a few steps back. I like to think it's a nod to how fucked up the game was.
That was always there before the update, happens in random places. You could jokingly call it a smoking kills PSA because they're always smoking before they die.
I realize that Muta is one of my content creators by the fact that he can make me watch a half an hour long video and me get interested in it instead of me just clicking away, even when the topic (in this case Cyberpunk 2077) wasn't something I really cared about at all prior to watching the video.

It's awkward, and severely out of place. It's very immersion breaking too. Imagine being in 3rd person when V touches Jackie's shoulder as he's bleeding out in Delamain. Not...very immersive...🤨 That was the whole point of FPP in the first place: Immersion. I don't know why people want this.

I always had a suspicion that they would eventually branch away from last generation consoles to work on new updates that the extra power of the new gens could benefit. I'm glad they at least made the PS4 and Xbox One versions decent to play before moving on.
Though I will still say that I believe it was a mistake to release it on last gen. Like, I know it was and still is a big market due to scalping and people would’ve bitched about it, but it’s like putting Crysis on the original Xbox in 2006 (or even the Xbox 360 which released later that year.) The graphical requirements are just too high for the hardware. Respect to them for fixing it up as much as they have, but I definitely think they could’ve saved a lot of trouble by just releasing on next gen and PC.

The reason that car went nowhere when you hit it, could be because the driver either was knocked out or died from the impact. The feature was added in 1.5. Also, regarding chases from the police and gangs, these are in the game already. You can provoke gang members/police to get in their cars and start following/shooting at you.
Hopefully they add car customization somewhere in the future, more races and more stuff to do with cars in general. That alone would bring many players back and bring in new players. On top of new parts of the map, new story dlc and everything else.
The customization system in this is still very weak. I think people were expecting a system where you would actually be able to modify your character visual with the different installed mods and augments. Wouldn't it be cool if you could actually make your character look like Adam Smasher? Instead all you get is some silver lines on your face.
What personally disappointed me the most when it came to customization is they promised you'd be able to make a totally gender neutral character but you can't even put the male hairstyles on the female base and vice versa. I LOVE character customization and not even being able to do the bare minimum like that disappointed me quickly when I got the game
If an overhaul is needed I'd rather them putting out a sequel at this point. Learn from the mistakes that they did and do a better job at implementing promised features.

I’m quite happy with this update it’s allowed the game to become a lot more stable currently I’ve finished all main missions before the patches even came it’s a beautiful story I will not spoil it though. I’m saving a full new playthrough on next gen as I’m on Xbox one s
My hopes in expansions for cyberpunk, would definitely be one around racing and tuner culture. have actual in depth tuning and visual customization, with dealerships and groups focused on racing. it would be so interesting and would definitely put cyberpunk on the map in terms of rpgs.
Generally this is not what I'm interested in when it comes to games like Cyberpunk, but if they dropped a DLC like that with proper driving AI and chases, I'd be down for it.

This game has problems deeper than surface level quality of life issues, such as the plot that will take too much to "fix". It was fun for what it was but it'll never get to where it was suppose to be in the first place. cdpr was the last big company I had any amount of hope for quality in for the longest time but now I'm waiting up to even a year after release and will go through it with a fine toothed comb.
Great video! I was one of the players back at launch, and despite it being one of the most broken things ever, I did still really enjoy the story and world. I really hope that this game can get a major expansion and/or sequel with more focus on what works, because I think this setting is really cool.
I'm so sick of waiting. I've been wanting CyberPunk2077 since like 2016 or something and when it came out and I read all the horror reviews I decided I would wait until the game was patched up enough that I wouldn't encounter game breaking bugs all the time. It's nearly 1 and half years later and the game STILL isn't ready... I seriously thought that CPR would do a No Man's Sky on this, like, they would just spend a whole year working on getting it up to snuff for us and then rename it as the 'Definitive Edition' or whatever, it's still a good enough looking game that people WILL buy it if they think it'll play well.
To all the nay sayers, this game changed my life. Played 50 hours on ps4 at launch. Now I no longer get motion sickness in cars! 12 fps is a game changer!
Mutah: I'd prefer the 60 frames over retracing for the combat/shooting aspect of the game. Me who's barley, if not ever touched 60 FPS: I've been preparing for this my entire life!
Not looking forward to finding out how many PC mods this broke. I'm probably going to delete my saves, uninstall my mods and wait for the modding community to catch up to this update before starting a new game. They need to just release the dev kit so modders can go buck wild like they did with Skyrim. That's how that game became functionally immortal.
I played this game when it first came out on pc and the problems I had with it are still present, I can gladly overlook the bugs and the glitches and poor preformance, what I DO care about, however, is the gameplay, and all I can remember from my experience in playing is 1- put a waypoint on the map 2- go to said waypoint and complete whatever it is that's there 3- get ur eddies and repeat, it was bare bones and had no life to it whatsoever, there were no random interactions, most of the side quests were like "V, go kill this baddie, sending you the detes" then "good job V, eddies sent" and that was it, it was so meaningless and lifeless, all of the shops were simmilar in their UI and had no interactions, it was just so lifeless, now I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2 (I know I'm a little late to the party) but man this ((last gen game)) just blows it out of the water while not even trying, just as an example, I was riding my horse on my way to a mission when I heared a scream on the side of the road, I could've ignored it but I checked it out to find a guy bitten by a snake, and so I had the choice to give him an antidote, which I did, then we both moved on and I forgot about him, until later on I was in a city and I heared a voice reaching out to me, turns out it's that guy I saved! he told me he doesn't have any money but he'll give me anything I want from that gun store over there and that it's on him and he'll take care of it later on. THIS is world building, this is one of the MANY random and MEANINGFUL interactions in the game, Dutch giving out a speech about hope in the camp, NPCs commenting on the blood on your shoulder, taking care of your guns, of your horse, of your beared and clothes, it honestly makes me speechless how people are still giving this game a chance, STOP ENCOURAGING THIS BEHAVIOUR! the "release it now and fix it later" attitude, its marketing was SO DECEPTIVE yet the stupid bugs and glitches and last gen preformance OVER SHADOWED all these other problems.
Ironically Cd Project Red claimed to be aiming for "RDR2" quality before they released cyberpunk. I didn't really expect RDR2 to be quite as good as it was, I'm a little jealous you get to experience it for the first time! What makes me sad about cyberpunk is that its not an rpg anymore, at least not in the traditional sense and not enough for them to feel comfortable describing it that way post release (despite advertising it as one.). It kinda shocks me that no one really notices or cares about the genre shift and the generic gameplay that cyberpunk has, I guess because they're too busy complaining about bugs and gameplay features like cops being shallow. But... cyberpunk not even being an rpg, not being immersive or choice based... that's something I don't think will ever be fixed. Now RDR2... that was a game you could get lost in and immerse in the characters and the world. I have minor gripes about mission structure but other than that its a masterpiece imo, it even does a better job of being an rpg and its not even meant to be one.
youre comparing the details of a rockstar game to the mission structure of a different game (in which said mission structure is super similar to rdr2, ironically) yes rdr2 is much more polished and complete but small details shouldn't be compared to mission structure in a different game

I may have missed it, but Im not yet seeing a way to customize gear based on what youve picked up, while upgrading the rating. I really dislike getting rid of a cool look to put on some ugly hat or whatever that gives me better stats.
I never went back to my apartment in the game except when it forces you to once during a story mission. I never used the stash because I just kept everything on me. This game is taking years to update to catch up to GTA San Andreas.... 🤣

I got this game a couple weeks ago and have about 25 hours played on series s. I'm having fun, but the bugs get in the way at time. Still really buggy even now, below is a list of shit I've dealt with so far Game randomly crashing after an hour or 2 of straight playing vehicles getting fused together area hostile map alert staying present even when in a safe area till I reload the game one mission I was scrambling for 40 mins only to realize I triggered a bug and couldn't progress unless I loaded a prev save
This never should have been for last gen, it just set back the next gen and pc versions. What they promised might have actually been possible if they weren't stuck making it work for the Xbox one and ps4
I've been playing the long game with this, erm, game for a long while now. I've waited for updates and bid my time waiting for the game to be stable and ready for a relaunch. Now that it has, I'm happy for it. Not exactly happy that we all waited a year and a half to get to this state but happy enough. Now comes another long game of hunting down a PS5 or Series X to try it out for myself. I'm basically Captain Ahab at this point with a spear in one hand and a spyglass in the other searching for signs of one console that looks like Seto Kaiba's coat and another that looks like my fridge.
Who cares if they eventually fix the bugs? The hype was about a city that could rival GTAs easily paired with a real sense of freedom when taking choices in missions... what we "eventually" got its still the same we had at release... and thats not enough.
They added new voice lines in patch 1.31 and 1.2. Also some new one’s for 1.5. All of these are NOT announced in the patch notes. The voice lines added before 1.5 besides the odd one added in 1.2 are not yet in the game, as they are for the expansions. You can check the Cyberpunk Datamine subreddit for more information.
Hopefully, like No Man's Sky, this casualty of the hype train can heal and make a recovery. This still doesn't excuse them in my eyes for how the game released. No Man's Sky at least had the excuse that they truly were a small team in over their heads, CD Projekt Red is much larger and should have had better judgement on playing into the hype and setting their release date.

@@TDR-0484 To a certain extent perhaps but it’s foolish to deny that this applies far more to games like Cyperpunk and No Man Sky than other games. Generally, putting hundreds of hours into a single player game that’s still receiving large updates to the core experience will just sully the enjoyment of the final (in theory best) version.
Feels bad to say, but abandoning antique-gen consoles is the best move. It never should of been sold on them and it's unfortunate they literally have to do a bait and switch in order to make the game what was promised.

Honestly I couldn't give less of a shit about this game anymore its been 2 years now and if this is all they have to show for it then its pathetic and underwhelming
I've put in over 500+ hours on CP2077 and have for the most part had a good time sure it had issues from the get-go but to me, it was something I was prepared to overlook because the story was in my eyes compelling and well done could be flaky in places but then again what work of fiction is ever perfect. I also by default did female V first and did not look back whoever voice-acted her did a stand-up job and at the start of the game it was pretty raw (not giving anything away on that front but it's to do with the prologue heist and when it goes wrong at the end of it) I feel a connection to V because of that and it kept me hooked and kind of also turned me into an Angel of Death with the darkness that exists in NC one of my main objectives was to wipe out as many members of each of the gangs as I could even if they where not hostile towards me I knew they had to go because again some of have a really nasty side due to the plot later on and a certain incident after the events of the heist that puts the Tyger Claws and Malstrom on notice with me that one way or the other they will be wiped out. I have high hopes as a PC player that this game is going to get where it should have been even if it was unfortunately missold to the public at the time but then again a lot of impatient people are just as much to blame for what happened as the publisher themselves for caving into them. Can only get better here on out.
Just face it guys, this game was meant for PC and current gen consoles. You can't expect the best performance, nor quality on last gen consoles. - Also, the game itself is awesome on PC. And with future patches it will only be better.
The thing with noman's sky isn't that it was buggy, it was that it was EMPTY as if it was missing hundreds of features. The thing with Cyberpunk 2077 is that it was buggy AND missing features, and the fact that there is STILL bugs in the game they haven't fixed shows this game was pretty much unplayable at launch. Yeah it's better now, but it's still has a lot of issues/missing content that was supposed to be in the game from the start. Obviously the AI of the game will never be as functional as GTA 5, but at least they can work out to make it somewhat like the NCP's aren't totally braindead?
The glitches aren't gone, but the game breaking ones are. They've also added in-game (partial) facial customization and improvements to 2nd Amendment, meaning better prices and weaponry. I'm sure a lot more was added, but I didn't really read through it that thoroughly. Just played it and had fun. Traffic has increased I believe, as well as the improvement of AI reactions to certain things carried out by the player. Overall, the update's great.
They must've just create a 'Director's Cut' of the game involving extensive changes. Mass Effect 3 did it...but of course that game didn't suffer as much as Cyberpunk did. In all, FUCK this game.
Playing on pc I noticed the general actions from the pedestrians really have improved with the new patch. But the cpu usage has really went up because of this.
Umm... GTA 4 and 5, both of which came out on PS3, have much more mature and extensive systems in place. Maybe their rendering tech isn't quite as good but they aren't bad-looking games. So saying that Cyberpunk was too ambitious for the current-gen consoles is just not true.
I'm loving the new patch. There's still some issues of course. The traffic AI is still kinda weird and the traffic lights still automatically turn green whenever you drive close to them (Kinda picky but I can't unnotice it). But compared to the previous versions it really is a night and day difference.

I can't speak for anything but ps5 but I loved going back and playing with raytracing and picking a different ending. If you are thinking about buying it, I'd wait until it's more updated as the game is still missing many features it should've launched with like car customization, police system still isn't great, there isn't a metro, and missing the promised parkour. The game is a lot better than it was at launch, but maybe I just have a bad taste in my mouth from its launch. that's my take, thanks for reading

To be fair, I've had 1 crash on my 70 hour playthrough on my PS4 pro.
I still haven't touched the main story since the audio bugs pretty badly, especially the radio.
If I could I'd be playing it on a PC or next gen, but finding a next gen is impossible.

My last playthrough, they nerfed how much money you find on the 1st rescue mission with Jackie. The 1st time you visit your apartment, if you went all the way down to the end of the hallway, you'd find 800 eddies, that was missing. I'd like to know if anyone else can verify it has been taken out of the game.
350 hrs. Haven’t played in many, many months. I have a weird amount of nostalgia for this game. I think I do love it. The story angers me with how linear it is and obviously all the missing features and broken shit kills me. This still has potential if they give a damn enough to finish it.
I got to the point where I could drive exactly where I wanted to without even thinking about it. Jump into any fight on hard and eliminate most enemies without them realizing. I had to quit and come back later. I’ve been having fun coming back and the fact that I hated about knowing EVERYTHING has become fun again. Like it’s fun to sorta remember something about the game and then you were right… idk weird af
I can’t speak for PS5 users but on my Xbox Series X at launch it ran far better and probably as it should have on base PS4 & Xbox One. So far since the most recent patches & upgrades it definitely looks better to me

The game is a lot more stable and better looking but I feel CDPR doesn't really know what they're doing. The crowds for instance. GTA 5 did realistic crowds on the 360 and you're telling me I need a beefcake console for it now? Doesn't make sense.

The game could really do with some repeatable content that doesn't require a new save. Got a character at max level with all iconics and a good build but the only way to really see how it plays is to do don't fear the reaper.

Recently CDPR has started to hire people that have been doing mods for this game. There's a lot of really cool mods out there that actually work but are a little rough around the edges,
however, with CDPR hiring those talented modders, I believe we can see some big changes in the future

You don’t see CDPR holding out licenses and killing them for the sake of some extra cash, or charging an extra 10-20$ for the same game on next Gen, or even putting microtransactions in their game. CDPR fucked up with the release of CB77 on last gen consoles, but they have had an extremely positive track record and have always been consumer minded. Also, they aren’t taking every Avenue to steal our money even though they easily could try. They have dignity. Last time I checked, companies can make mistakes like people and still redeem themselves, or do you immediately identify people as fucking trash after their first fuck up.
TL;dr: Fuck off, CDPR made a big single fuck up but at least they respect us as the consumer and have dignity, unlike the other AAA studios you mentioned.

There’s definitely some issues still present in the game but compared to how it used to be, it almost feels like a completely different game in the best way possible.
The nerfs and buff sure do. The way gigs are leveled now makes it feel different. Gigs i used to do before the main heist i cant do now.

There is a car near Judy's apartment with an NPC standing nearby. Just walk up to the NPC and they'll enter the car but it'll blow up as if it was a carbombing after you take a few steps back. I like to think it's a nod to how fucked up the game was.

@@mr.sinjin-smyth Sorry to say this, but TPP does not belong in Cyberpunk 2077. That mod for TPP that came out looks atrocious, even when it does work properly. It's awkward, and severely out of place. It's very immersion breaking too. Imagine being in 3rd person when V touches Jackie's shoulder as he's bleeding out in Delamain. Not...very immersive...🤨 That was the whole point of FPP in the first place: Immersion. I don't know why people want this.
It's weird be because I can watch a lot of mutas videos til the end, but... he's like the most boring part of the SomeOrdinaryPodcast, hence I stopped watching it.
I always had a suspicion that they would eventually branch away from last generation consoles to work on new updates that the extra power of the new gens could benefit. I'm glad they at least made the PS4 and Xbox One versions decent to play before moving on.
Though I will still say that I believe it was a mistake to release it on last gen. Like, I know it was and still is a big market due to scalping and people would’ve bitched about it, but it’s like putting Crysis on the original Xbox in 2006 (or even the Xbox 360 which released later that year.) The graphical requirements are just too high for the hardware. Respect to them for fixing it up as much as they have, but I definitely think they could’ve saved a lot of trouble by just releasing on next gen and PC.

No one will ever buy another CDPR game. They will go bankrupt.
The reason that car went nowhere when you hit it, could be because the driver either was knocked out or died from the impact. The feature was added in 1.5. Also, regarding chases from the police and gangs, these are in the game already. You can provoke gang members/police to get in their cars and start following/shooting at you.
Hopefully they add car customization somewhere in the future, more races and more stuff to do with cars in general. That alone would bring many players back and bring in new players. On top of new parts of the map, new story dlc and everything else.
All of the things that you listed will probably happen, but I think we gotta wait a long time for another major update with new content

The customization system in this is still very weak. I think people were expecting a system where you would actually be able to modify your character visual with the different installed mods and augments. Wouldn't it be cool if you could actually make your character look like Adam Smasher? Instead all you get is some silver lines on your face.
What personally disappointed me the most when it came to customization is they promised you'd be able to make a totally gender neutral character but you can't even put the male hairstyles on the female base and vice versa. I LOVE character customization and not even being able to do the bare minimum like that disappointed me quickly when I got the game

My hopes in expansions for cyberpunk, would definitely be one around racing and tuner culture. have actual in depth tuning and visual customization, with dealerships and groups focused on racing. it would be so interesting and would definitely put cyberpunk on the map in terms of rpgs.
Generally this is not what I'm interested in when it comes to games like Cyberpunk, but if they dropped a DLC like that with proper driving AI and chases, I'd be down for it.

This game has problems deeper than surface level quality of life issues, such as the plot that will take too much to "fix". It was fun for what it was but it'll never get to where it was suppose to be in the first place. cdpr was the last big company I had any amount of hope for quality in for the longest time but now I'm waiting up to even a year after release and will go through it with a fine toothed comb.
Great video! I was one of the players back at launch, and despite it being one of the most broken things ever, I did still really enjoy the story and world. I really hope that this game can get a major expansion and/or sequel with more focus on what works, because I think this setting is really cool.
I'm so sick of waiting. I've been wanting CyberPunk2077 since like 2016 or something and when it came out and I read all the horror reviews I decided I would wait until the game was patched up enough that I wouldn't encounter game breaking bugs all the time. It's nearly 1 and half years later and the game STILL isn't ready... I seriously thought that CPR would do a No Man's Sky on this, like, they would just spend a whole year working on getting it up to snuff for us and then rename it as the 'Definitive Edition' or whatever, it's still a good enough looking game that people WILL buy it if they think it'll play well.
To all the nay sayers, this game changed my life. Played 50 hours on ps4 at launch. Now I no longer get motion sickness in cars! 12 fps is a game changer!

I played this game when it first came out on pc and the problems I had with it are still present, I can gladly overlook the bugs and the glitches and poor preformance, what I DO care about, however, is the gameplay, and all I can remember from my experience in playing is 1- put a waypoint on the map 2- go to said waypoint and complete whatever it is that's there 3- get ur eddies and repeat, it was bare bones and had no life to it whatsoever, there were no random interactions, most of the side quests were like "V, go kill this baddie, sending you the detes" then "good job V, eddies sent" and that was it, it was so meaningless and lifeless, all of the shops were simmilar in their UI and had no interactions, it was just so lifeless, now I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2 (I know I'm a little late to the party) but man this ((last gen game)) just blows it out of the water while not even trying, just as an example, I was riding my horse on my way to a mission when I heared a scream on the side of the road, I could've ignored it but I checked it out to find a guy bitten by a snake, and so I had the choice to give him an antidote, which I did, then we both moved on and I forgot about him, until later on I was in a city and I heared a voice reaching out to me, turns out it's that guy I saved! he told me he doesn't have any money but he'll give me anything I want from that gun store over there and that it's on him and he'll take care of it later on. THIS is world building, this is one of the MANY random and MEANINGFUL interactions in the game, Dutch giving out a speech about hope in the camp, NPCs commenting on the blood on your shoulder, taking care of your guns, of your horse, of your beared and clothes, it honestly makes me speechless how people are still giving this game a chance, STOP ENCOURAGING THIS BEHAVIOUR! the "release it now and fix it later" attitude, its marketing was SO DECEPTIVE yet the stupid bugs and glitches and last gen preformance OVER SHADOWED all these other problems.
Ironically Cd Project Red claimed to be aiming for "RDR2" quality before they released cyberpunk. I didn't really expect RDR2 to be quite as good as it was, I'm a little jealous you get to experience it for the first time!
What makes me sad about cyberpunk is that its not an rpg anymore, at least not in the traditional sense and not enough for them to feel comfortable describing it that way post release (despite advertising it as one.). It kinda shocks me that no one really notices or cares about the genre shift and the generic gameplay that cyberpunk has, I guess because they're too busy complaining about bugs and gameplay features like cops being shallow. But... cyberpunk not even being an rpg, not being immersive or choice based... that's something I don't think will ever be fixed. Now RDR2... that was a game you could get lost in and immerse in the characters and the world. I have minor gripes about mission structure but other than that its a masterpiece imo, it even does a better job of being an rpg and its not even meant to be one.
youre comparing the details of a rockstar game to the mission structure of a different game (in which said mission structure is super similar to rdr2, ironically)

I got this game a couple weeks ago and have about 25 hours played on series s. I'm having fun, but the bugs get in the way at time. Still really buggy even now, below is a list of shit I've dealt with so far
Game randomly crashing after an hour or 2 of straight playing
vehicles getting fused together
area hostile map alert staying present even when in a safe area till I reload the game
one mission I was scrambling for 40 mins only to realize I triggered a bug and couldn't progress unless I loaded a prev save
I picked CyberPunk up around Christmas For like 20 on Epic's store. I enjoyed it. I particularly loved the Akira skinned motorcycle
This never should have been for last gen, it just set back the next gen and pc versions. What they promised might have actually been possible if they weren't stuck making it work for the Xbox one and ps4
I've been playing the long game with this, erm, game for a long while now. I've waited for updates and bid my time waiting for the game to be stable and ready for a relaunch. Now that it has, I'm happy for it. Not exactly happy that we all waited a year and a half to get to this state but happy enough. Now comes another long game of hunting down a PS5 or Series X to try it out for myself. I'm basically Captain Ahab at this point with a spear in one hand and a spyglass in the other searching for signs of one console that looks like Seto Kaiba's coat and another that looks like my fridge.

Who cares if they eventually fix the bugs? The hype was about a city that could rival GTAs easily paired with a real sense of freedom when taking choices in missions... what we "eventually" got its still the same we had at release... and thats not enough.
They added new voice lines in patch 1.31 and 1.2. Also some new one’s for 1.5. All of these are NOT announced in the patch notes. The voice lines added before 1.5 besides the odd one added in 1.2 are not yet in the game, as they are for the expansions. You can check the Cyberpunk Datamine subreddit for more information.
Hopefully, like No Man's Sky, this casualty of the hype train can heal and make a recovery.
This still doesn't excuse them in my eyes for how the game released. No Man's Sky at least had the excuse that they truly were a small team in over their heads, CD Projekt Red is much larger and should have had better judgement on playing into the hype and setting their release date.
This all great and all waiting for the 2.0 patch, but I want my free DLC we where promised, I'll play again then

I've put in over 500+ hours on CP2077 and have for the most part had a good time sure it had issues from the get-go but to me, it was something I was prepared to overlook because the story was in my eyes compelling and well done could be flaky in places but then again what work of fiction is ever perfect. I also by default did female V first and did not look back whoever voice-acted her did a stand-up job and at the start of the game it was pretty raw (not giving anything away on that front but it's to do with the prologue heist and when it goes wrong at the end of it) I feel a connection to V because of that and it kept me hooked and kind of also turned me into an Angel of Death with the darkness that exists in NC one of my main objectives was to wipe out as many members of each of the gangs as I could even if they where not hostile towards me I knew they had to go because again some of have a really nasty side due to the plot later on and a certain incident after the events of the heist that puts the Tyger Claws and Malstrom on notice with me that one way or the other they will be wiped out.
I have high hopes as a PC player that this game is going to get where it should have been even if it was unfortunately missold to the public at the time but then again a lot of impatient people are just as much to blame for what happened as the publisher themselves for caving into them. Can only get better here on out.

Just face it guys, this game was meant for PC and current gen consoles.
You can't expect the best performance, nor quality on last gen consoles.

The thing with noman's sky isn't that it was buggy, it was that it was EMPTY as if it was missing hundreds of features.
The thing with Cyberpunk 2077 is that it was buggy AND missing features, and the fact that there is STILL bugs in the game they haven't fixed shows this game was pretty much unplayable at launch.
Yeah it's better now, but it's still has a lot of issues/missing content that was supposed to be in the game from the start. Obviously the AI of the game will never be as functional as GTA 5, but at least they can work out to make it somewhat like the NCP's aren't totally braindead?
They actually can be like GTA or even better, if they just put the time and resources into it.
At least Cyberpunk is more enjoyable than Battlefield 2042
The glitches aren't gone, but the game breaking ones are. They've also added in-game (partial) facial customization and improvements to 2nd Amendment, meaning better prices and weaponry. I'm sure a lot more was added, but I didn't really read through it that thoroughly. Just played it and had fun.
Traffic has increased I believe, as well as the improvement of AI reactions to certain things carried out by the player. Overall, the update's great.

They must've just create a 'Director's Cut' of the game involving extensive changes.
Mass Effect 3 did it...but of course that game didn't suffer as much as Cyberpunk did.
In all, FUCK this game.
Playing on pc I noticed the general actions from the pedestrians really have improved with the new patch. But the cpu usage has really went up because of this.
Umm... GTA 4 and 5, both of which came out on PS3, have much more mature and extensive systems in place. Maybe their rendering tech isn't quite as good but they aren't bad-looking games. So saying that Cyberpunk was too ambitious for the current-gen consoles is just not true.

I'm loving the new patch. There's still some issues of course. The traffic AI is still kinda weird and the traffic lights still automatically turn green whenever you drive close to them (Kinda picky but I can't unnotice it). But compared to the previous versions it really is a night and day difference.
WE DO NOT APPLUAD DEVELOPERS WHO DECIDE TO RELEASE A GAME IN AN UNFINISHED STATE.
Just because the game runs now, AS IT SHOULD HAVE AT LAUNCH, does NOT mean we should applaud them!
Releasing a fully fleshed out game that doesn't require online patches, is becoming a rarity for 'Triple A' game studios.
