Very clear explanation regarding the timing. That's always been my challenge. How did I know? Because of the look on my partner's face when I'm a half-beat behind! 🙂
Thanks for this straightforward and useful video.

I LOVE that you found it helpful. There is SO MUCH to talk about when breaking down the really good pros. There is so much that they do that almost looks like magic. We're excited to help deconstruct it in a way that's helpful. Keep up the good work and as always let us know if there is a topic you want to see us tackle. Best wishes in the new year -Brian

I have real problems making the cognitive connection between where either foot is supposed to be on any count other than maybe 1,2,3,4. I’ve learned steps, technique, I almost always remember to count…I try to think about and listen to the music/beat. I must confess, there is an element of intuition that gets factored into my dancing. I think that part is very exciting but I can’t explain it. Great video, as always.

There is definitely an element of intuition that comes into dancing. At a high level almost all of it is 'just happening intuitively" We're releasing a 3 part musicality series in January that will start to take apart the musicality struggles bit by bit. It's exciting when the small pieces come together and the dancing just flows. That's what hooks and addicts us!!!! Keep up the good work -B
