The lane change blinker function has literally been standard on all cars in Europe for a long time now (20 years or so). I get the impression from you making a special mention of it that it's not standard on some vehicles in the US.
I hope America is not so far behind that there are still new cars that don't have it as a standard feature in 2017.

XTL really dude? Show me...so the Mercs and Bimmers and Audis sent our way did not have any of these functions...? Even in 2017 on a Audi Q5 you need to step up to Prestige trim to get the frickin adaptive cruise. It is fuckin standard on Hyundais and Toyotas... so much for fuckin Euro snobbery, get the F out of here...

Mirror-mounted turn signals were introduced as standard equipment mid-year in 2003.
Loved my 2016 highlander limited but sold it for the 17 limited man I have no regrets. although the transmission is not as smooth the new engine and transmission is better on gas, smoother and quieter ride. the LED on the mirror will display highlander on the ground at night. Lane keep assist is funky sometime but its the future for sure. Indeed that little black button in the back is for the rear window to unlock. the lines in 360 view when backing up also moves.. so cool.

Question about "2018 Highlander XLE AWD" (V6- 8-speed Automatic)
a.) Is there a way to turn on digital speedometer and how?
b.) When performing a front parking, Is there a beeping noise (we can enable) when the car is approaching something in the front?
c.) How to enable horn when locking the car using the Key FOB
d.) Where do we insert the key which is hidden on the Key FOB

Will the back hatch lift gate open up while the vehicle is moving if someone hits the key fob open button or you accidently hit the dashboard open button down by your left knee. Don't want to be driving down the road and dump the groceries out.
USARMYvietnamVET1969 No the doors lock when you shift it in park and even when the doors are unlocked and your driving it will double beep and not open. The key buttons disable when the vehicle is on.
I own this car, and I have to say, it was well worth 60k.

is that u.s dollars or yen. I bought my XLE for 37.7k $. granted with a bunch of deals discounts and bargaining that is :). the highlander should go up to 45k at most with limited hybrid or something. If my car had gone into the 40k range, I would have definitely started looking at the mdx or qx60.

That button on the back lift gate is to open just the window portion of the lift gate, not to lock the doors
But next to the lift gate button there is another button that I believe does that. I didn't notice til this video so thanks

Great question. I think the limited comes only w Captains chairs in the 2nd row.
High lander must have. Two pipes muffler like Mazda and two shokabsorbers to hold the front cover and need to be extended alitel for the third seat and l e d front light so please do it

Cup holder doesn’t need to be as deep as a seat, so there probably wasn’t enough available space for a wider seat. (I’m guessing… 🤔)

Bwatt5000 there is no remote start button but if you google it, you have to press buttons on the key fob and it will turn on

should I save money to take this highlander or move up to RX350 f-sport
In my opinion the Highlander is a better vehicle if you have more than 4 or 5 members in your family. The RX350 FSport is better if you have 4 or fewer members in your family. I like the RX350 FSport better because of the bold design characteristics and the seamless integration of technology and safety features. Both vehicles are incredible but for the Lexus is better. I was torn between the 450 or the hilander. ultimately chose the hilander last week. the additional features such as charger usb ports, accessories ports, and other times that were included in a standard hilander either did not exist or came at an extra cost on the Lexus.

Search UA-cam for a Highlander vs Pilot comparison. They break almost even but the Pilot has a little more cargo space while the Highlander offers a better warranty. The Highlander also looks better in my opinion but both are great SUV’s.

I do. If you read the comments of my other videos, especially the ones where I explain how to use key fobs and switches inside the vehicles, you would read how people appreciate it. Some people are going from older cars that had none of this technology and it's all new to them. Also, you wouldn't believe how poorly car salespeople "teach" their clients about their cars...

pretty sure you meant to say 4 valves per cylinder 24 valve per cylinder would be 144 valves in a v6 ive never heard or an engine that has 144 valves they would have to be tiny in order to fit 24 per cylinder inside the head
