I just learned about this so im going to share: If you want to quickly "mow the lawn" (get rid of the grass) Before laying out the building, pour buckets of water one at a time around the flat area. It will get rid of the grass/flowers.

You could also use a command block and a little bit of glitching to make the game think your in survival when your really in creative.

@braydennosredna The reason people watch let's plays is to experience a personality or commentary together. But people here seem to be magnetized to this channel even if the only words are some text on the screen. If people are already gravitating towards this type of content, why not try it out? Just because Let's Plays generally include commentary doesn't mean a non commentary one couldn't be possible.

for anyone who uses campfires as overhangs, detail, etc.
you can also put the flames out with a shovel I when through the hassle of placing water but it's also more efficient to use a shovel! hope this helped :)

This is absolutely gorgeous and I'm so excited! I just started it. I made a HUGE area for it and was like "OH MY GOD ITS JUST ON THE EDGE OH NO"
After spending 5 hours collecting the things needed for the build then another 4 hours trying to build it, at 5:00 AM I have finally completed this barn and I am amazed with how amazing it looks. Good job on making these amazing builds!

I have watched a lot of barn builds trying to improve my own, and this is the first one I have seen that I absolutely love. TYSM not only for the beautiful design but the corrected notes on the layout and the materials list.

This is my last time to build a barn as ZayPixel
I was literally watching this while smiling like a child, and i am a 21 years old grown man... i'm currently sick (probably covid) and i can't workout or go out, so i started playing minecraft and searched for a good way to make a barn for my animals because i am a vet student irl and i love animals, and this is just perfection ! I giggled whenever you used useful items as decoration ( like the stone grinder who served as a wheel or the lever on top of water) all i need now is a farm design to grow food and i'll be happy hahah
There is also a tutorial for a greenhouse and farmhouse fyi!
I personally prefer trip wire hooks instead of levers,, you should try it!

That is the wonderful effect of Zaypixel. A single click and your worries are gone. I have no Idea what vet students learn except of anatomy and therapy methods and some stuff but I heard medicine studium is one of the hardest and you must be a wise man when you use Zaypixel as a calming channel.

I love building this across your stripped oak cabin. I feel like I have a proper ranch base and room for lots of horses! I used the inside of the barn for a enchanting room and some storage and stuff
Yet another one of your builds that will end up in my world. Your videos are the perfect build guide. No talking but clear block count and direction, a layout graphic to study so you know you get it right, and most of them are under an hour. I have you large underwater house and medieval survival starter house as well. Keep up the awesome videos please. :)

@@sapphireSappho it’s stardew valley music but it’s a piano cover, that’s why you don’t recognise it.
The animal pens part of this build is my go-to for keeping my animal farms, it's so cute I love it so much. Also! A cute design idea: If you'd like, swap out the campfires for trapdoors. It's a bit less resource intensive and you have quite a few options with the different wood styles (Or more if you're playing with mods like I do!)
Great build. I did the main barn and horse stalls on the side. Then instead of the other animals I just put another horse stable section on the other side. Filled the barn with hay on one half and made a work and tool area on the other. Great staging area for heading out and exploring in my world.
I know it takes a long time to plan, build, and record these projects. Your projects are very nice and the way you show all the dimensions and materials needed is a lot better than most UA-camrs. All while never speaking which is more amazing. I love that you build them in survival most of all. I hope to see more content in the future for as long as you are willing and able to make videos. Thank you for your time.

I recently started playing a bit of Minecraft again and got this video in my recommended, and I'm just astounded by it! The build itself is beautiful but the level of detail in the different camera angles, planning it out in advance so you have all the materials ready(especially because it's in survival!), listing everything you need in the corner, highlighting the number of blocks for each section. It's so good! I'm tempted to recreate this in my server.
You could also put farmer villagers in the barn as an added touch. They can’t open fence gates, so they wouldn’t be able to escape. That could give the barn usefulness along with aesthetics. Love the build, though! ❤️

I made an exact copy of this barn on my ssp looks great ty! I just changed rabbit hide into lead and leather into shears. Also added an arched entrance gate on the fence. Replaced 2/4 horses with a donkey and a pig with saddle :D
I am amazed at how many things can be enhanced and how many illusions can be made with just different combinations of common blocks. I never would have thought to use campfires to make the stable roof look more interesting, use spruce trapdoors and chains to make a hanging table, that is so wonderful. I just wish Minecraft on PS4 looked nearly as beautiful as Minecraft on PC with natural shaders. Your videos are really tempting me to buy it again on PC.

Can I just say that when I first watched one of your tutorials I wasn't so sure I loved it. But by the end I was hooked, I just love the way you present these videos. It's so calm and relaxing and I can just kind of go at my own pace without getting overwhelmed by too much happening at once.
Mainly the soothing music and the angled camera, saving first person for more cinematic effect rather than the entire tutorial, I'll bet that alone requires more editing and things that other youtubers I watch don't even put in

I liked it so much. I was searching how to build a farm for my survival because I wanted to try new other builds. The materials are not very complicated to have, but you need to be patient. One of the best farms I have ever tried.

the intro reminds me of a book I’d read as a kid- “Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type” by Doreen Cronin. the animals in the barn found a typewriter and used it to make demands to the farmer 🧑🌾 that was a real blast from the past ☺️ 10/10 intro, 10/10 build
